Lester, I'm from Florida and hunt gators, best chance is at night when they're feeding. Flash light and you can see the eyes glowing in the light, between the eyes is best for quick bye bye. It will go down, then float up. Wear gloves when you handle it for removal, they carry a lot of bacteria on their skin. Burying it is best because they do stink to high heaven!❤ Good luck, you're a great shot so you'll get it removed fast.

Living in Florida for 41 years I have witnessed a gator being cut opened and 4 dog collars fall out of its stomach. Gators are quick, stealthy and opportunistic and if you think you are quicker than a gator going after a meal you would be wrong. I would not let my dogs or the calves anywhere near the water period if there is a gator in there. You are playing with fire letting your dogs swim in that water while a gator lurks. They will drown your animal before you can get to them. You may be able to save them from being eaten but the drowning is what is most of the time witnessed. Last year an 78 year old woman in Orlando was walking her dog at a ponds edge ( never ever do this) and a gator went after her dog and she ended up being attacked and she drowned because the gator pulled her under. The dog survived but she lost her life this was so very sad. Lester I cringed when I watched your live and you pointed out a live gator in the pond, while Trixie and Christmas were splashing around in the water. You were basically baiting the gator. Again if you think you are quicker than a gator jumping and snagging a meal and pulling it under the water you would be very wrong. If you live in Florida it is an unspoken truth that you never ever walk your dog at any body of waters edge..Not yelling just stating facts❤️❤️❤️❤️

You have taken such good care of Gary. I just wish he could get some X-rays on his leg and hip. As he gets bigger it is going to get harder for him and I am hopeful an X-ray might show something to be done to help. The obvious is that he had something broken or dislocated in his hip. He is healthy enough to travel now so that is my wish for Gary so we know he is living at his best quality of life.

I’m glad tht Lil Gary has found him a gf. Gary’s like yep Jezebel ur the one for me, 🐮💕 Jezebel has always been the loner, she’s always just hung out alone. And then along came Lil Gary and he was alone also just laying around on the edge of the trees and such. Of course he could see the others but he was to injured to hang out with them until now 👍🏻 Now Lil Gary has found him a girl and she has her a bf. I love those 2 together, even tho I know there won’t ever be any baby at least they have each other.
