Was wondering, if you sold a stock during after hours, would you lose the trade at the rate indicate when the market closed, the rate during the after hour or the new rate the stock will open the next day with? For example a stock closed at 100, you placed the order during after hours when it went down to 98 and next day it opens at 95. Which rate would your trade close at?

Why can't I trade a futures contract with a buy or sell stop order after hours? I don't want to put the order in at night and have it go through my stop and get a bad fill.

i am trying to trade the drip etf and notice that it can drop 9% after hours sometimes. that seems unfair not have a sell stop capability after hours. how about sell stop limit order?
