I take it for a full day out in an #iphoneonly and #shotoniphone photography day where I review Apple's new iPhone 14 Pro's 48MP ProRAW camera from sunrise to sunset. It was a really interesting day with diverse weather and lighting conditions, which made for a collection of shots to test the iPhone 14 Pro's photography and videography. Thank you so much for this video, I’ve not tried my 14 Pro Max on Raw in good outdoor light yet, I really must! I can’t believe the quality of those photos being straight out of the camera unedited, fantastic. I’m 70 and enjoy taking pics when I get the time and opportunity, and I really thought you’d have to put the raw photos on Lightroom or edit in the native camera app to get that quality, so I’m absolutely amazed, you’ve now inspired me to go out and take photos, thank you! ❤🇬🇧👌🏻

48 Mp ProRAW photos are stunning, often I prefer the 14 Pro Max over my Panasonic S5 full frame mirrorless when shooting at 24mm, the phone has better contrast and less chromatic abberation? The phone looks like the camera and the camera looks like the phone if I had to guess "blindfolded". 12 Mp looks like it always has, fine for social media, but I would never use one of those as a wall paper on my 27" 5K display, I do with the 48 Mp ProRAW. Video is fine for a phone, but clearly the HW can do much better, it looks over sharpened messy like the jpegs...

In the image details it shows the mm of the lens, but how do you know which camera it’s using, as 48MP ProRaw is only available on the main camera. Is there a way to see on the phone display which camera is being used for a shot? Or is as simple as 1x = main camera >1x = zoom and

What an amazing follow-up. Just pre-ordered mine (our country is super late). Can't wait to get my hands on it since I've only ever used a Samsung, which takes great photos, so looking forward to what iPhotography will look and feel like.

IPhotography! ;D Awesome Video and beautiful Shots! I'm also so in love with my new iPhone 14 Pro Max - before I used an Redmi Note 10 Pro and was so in love with the quality, but the 14PM is a big step closer to my Canon M50 & Sony A7II - but yeah, don't have to say, that there are worlds between the "big cameras" and the iPhone...just because of the bigger Sensor that means a real Bokeh, more Details and so on...but for shooting a few Pictures or making some Videos for Social Media or my own only, the iPhone is doing an amaaaazing job! :D

Actually my iPhone 14 Pro Max just came a few minutes ago. I'm watching stuff about it while waiting for it to finish transferring data from my iPhone X. I'm so excited, your shots are GORGEOUS, can't wait to with my new phone.

I know Iphone 14 pro doesn't have optical zoom. I use 1,9 digital zoom on video or photos since Iphone 11 pro and it works! It works in the sense like ppl use optical zoom on dslr. Iphone 14 pro got big sencor od 48 gb in lence 1 / 1 camera. So you can get more field of depth with 1.9 dz! It's like the you get the full benefit of the camera in my opinion.=)

_Let’s not forget the purpose of raw photos, which is to adjust color, contrast, highlights, lighting, shadows, sharpening, etc. everything that you cannot do with JPEG photos when it comes to editing._ _When you take a JPEG photo, all of the extra data, such as the color contrast, white balance, shadow, sharpening clarity, etc. or deleted while with the raw photo, you can keep all of the metadata for editing, and then finalizing with converting it into a JPEG_

Iphotgraphy Your BGM is absolute on point. Very beautiful shots. Are 256GB's good enough when planning to use pro raw here and there?

Only if you plan on moving your photos to PC or Mac once in a while. And also keep your pro raw photo clicks to a minimum. Then yes 256GB is enough. Coming from experience here with the IPhone 😅

Please make more relaxing videos like this but only with zoom comparison to Pixel and Samsung. As for your question - iPhone records the best video with the most natural colors and shapes of faces and objects. It’s so sad Pixel is not as good as iPhone with that cause it would be the king. People say Pixel takes the best photos because colors but also we can set a photographic style - rich contrast which will be similar. The thing I hate in iPhones is greeny look in JPG’s. I edited 1000 DMG iPhone photos and the only differences between iPhone and DSLR is that DSLR has deeper look and more details on faces but it’s obvious of course. Nice channel

I thought only regular 1x photos could be shot in 48MP? I thought anything else like night mode, low light, macro, telephoto, etc. would switch over to 12MP?

can you make avideo explaining what is the better option in terms of fps for eash situation? i dont underatnd why u chose 24 fps instead of the max fps. thanks!

60 fps or higher is good for shooting sports or for slowing down in post, but 24 fps is what Hollywood movies are shot in. It gives your footage a cinematic feel, especially with a 1/48 shutter speed in a third party camera app so you can achieve smoother motion blur. The higher frame rate makes things feel more like a soap opera or generic phone footage. It has a place for some applications, but isn’t what people going for a film effect will typically use.

Many (not all) consider it to be more cinematic as that's what Hollywood uses. Higher frame rates - 60, 120, etc. - are nice for slow motion.
