Carried an M9 on multiple deployments in a Galco vertical shoulder holster when walking around FOBs and loved it so much that I almost bought a Barretta just to keep wearing the shoulder rig - Galco please expand the leather vertical line to include red dots, especially the Glock 43x MOS and new FN 509/510/545 with the expanded mags. Great video, looks like a great show this year.

I still prefer muzzle down carry shoulder rigs. I hate pointing the muzzle at my kids when driving especially if we crash. I know the guns have awesome internal safeties but I just can’t get over it mentally. I’ll take the wrist penalty with an old a school muzzle down rig.

I have many Galco Holsters but they don't seem to be able to keep up with the changing times lights & optics ...tsk...tsk

I disagree, when carrying 2 guns in a shoulder holster you are exactly 20% cooler.

I carry a full size 1911. Long and heavy, but it’s what I am the best with, it’s a trade off. I received a Galco Miami classic and tried carrying with it and found it to be very uncomfortable, and floppy. Can’t bend over to pick up a dropped anything without exposing the fact that I’m concealing. Plus the skinny straps are just too little. So I have particular needs. Need a shoulder holster that has wide straps, vertical holster with tie downs to the waist belt at least, and swivels upon drawing the weapon to make it easier to draw. Plus the weapon I’m carrying now has a fiber optic front sight that loves to catch, and a low pro rear sight that is flat in front. I’m not changing my sights so the holster has to accommodate them. Not only all of that, but I’d really like a custom 2 tone leather and POSSIBLY kydex holster with some kind of carvings or impressions etc to fancy it up. Maybe a silver concho too. So…. What say you Galco ?

6:05 The answer would be muzzles sweep down, then forward (inverted), then wrists uncross (& rotate upright) while muzzles are pointed down range.

I like galco shoulder holsters alot-I have 3 of them already, but they need to get with the times and truly innovate and make a shoylder holster that accommodates lights, and or reddots. After having a light on my gun, i always want a light on my gun

People just haven't experienced how easy it is to use a vertical holster, For one thing if not completely vertical it's not a bit of an angle. It conceals a lot better specially if you're going to carry the full size. People just assume it's going to be very awkward but it's not.

Please make this in a rotating holster so it stores vertically and draws horizontally. I have been waiting for a nice shoulder holster that has some kydex. Galco makes some of the best leather holsters available, they just need to have some more development ideas for better concealment and I will purchase one for sure. Until then, I am going with the Falco.

Should make the mad carrier available for purchase seperate in brown, would make a great combo with the Falco kydex shoulder rig as their mag carrier is super bulky

Make the Miami Classic ll for the S&W CSX and you will have a winner. Really not that hard to get a pistol form to do this, and I will buy one immediately, and so will others too...😀

I want a shoulder holster but, I don't want or need one for something I can easily conceal and carry inside or outside my waistband. I also don't want or need one for a larger firearm I can access faster while tromping about in the woods from my chest, hip, or leg, Mr. Bear is unbelievably fast. What I want is one I can throw on quickly at the cabin as I head for the outhouse, or carry comfortably all night, and that's the hint, everything I want to carry in a shoulder holster has a light, small to large, some with an optic some without but all with a light and that's the problem because the options are endless. So, I want/need/would-like a high-quality comfortable shoulder rig that will accept custom easily swappable shells.

You can draw both without muzzling yourself. But it’s a very wide and un natural draw and one gun being higher than the other.

Galco is way behind the curve not having a full range of optic compatible yet.

Nobody did it better than Sonny Crockett. And now you can too. The Miami Vice II is a great way to pack.

With how gunfights happen I think its statically better for someone to carry a gun on each side instead of the 2 spare mags like stated weather for injuries or being faster than a reloaded or arming another ( an its nice to have access to a gun with either hand when in a fight..backups have turned into primaries may times in law enforcement ) ..and it balances the weight better ..that's the one thing I can see actually having a place in the real world that we see on movies..now for combat I think the more ammo the better but that's out my lane.. Darryl bolke has some great articles on shoulder rigs..it's simple not getting the attention it use to because of range rules

Red dot is so unnecessary. Light barring holster is necessary but you see very few.
