Imanaga, after recently getting shelled, has, in a way, returned to his true form. I hope he pitches well for the rest of the season and firmly establishes his place in MLB.🙏

We need more people with Shota's personality on this roster. Its full of quiet, easy going people that dont show a lot of emotion. But you need a guys like Baez or Shota to keep everyone locked in.

As a Japanese, I'm glad he is overachieving in the MLB! People have doubted his talent and skill because of his age and nationality! He's one of top pitchers in the world! He's Japan's pride just like Shohei Ohtani!

It is when most of the runs were in one start. He was 4-1 in June. Outside of the 1 loss his ERA was 2.6. ERA is a great stat, but over a short amount of starts we need to have some context.

Yes he was. Most of the runs for June were in one start. He was 4-1 in June. Outside of the 1 loss his ERA was 2.6. If his overall June ERA of 5+ was spread out evenly over his 5 starts, that would be bad, but having most of the runs all in one start, his only loss, means that he was, over-all, very good.
