Junior Walker was a great musician. Around 1980, Foreigner hired him to perform the saxophone solo for their upcoming single, “Urgent”. They got along so well, Walker joined the band for their tour that year.

And there was also a dance call (Shot Gun)You would rock front to back and bring your right arm over your shoulder and hold your left arm up like you were holding a rifle like you are going to aim.Them use your right hand like you were going to pull the trigger.This is how we did it in Philly, New York, B,more an in Washington D.C.at the dances.😊😊😊One of the Greatest Party song to dance to..

I saw Junior at the Ann Arbor Blues Festival in maybe 1971. For a while he played sax while lying down on the stage.

James Jamerson actually played bass on the original recording in 1964. But In other appearances Vic Thomas (the organist) was playing bass with the Hammond B-3 peddles.

There is no bass player. The organist is playing the bass with the peddles. The guy next to Jr Walker singing also is on an electric guitar.
