Noah... You teach as you film and narrate... I like the way you walk us thru as you think yourself to the elk. Guiding your friend guided us. Encouraging your friend put courage in me again... to go out again next year. I hope they will send you out with another segment next year.. of "Learning with Noah".

Still a success in my book. You were able to locate a bull on public land that was willing to interact. By being persistent you guys got him into 30 yards. Yeah the shot didn't connect but it didn't seem like there was all that great of a lane to shoot through. Remember Eric, this was your first shot at an elk. If you stay persistent you will succeed.

Super job all-around and in typical BRO fashion, you didn't disappoint on this one. Every hunter as done that at some point and if you haven't then you haven't hunted much. Tough go guys but that's why it's called hunting and not killing. Although you did not get the elk I would still call it a success. You called an unknown bull in on unknown land.. 100% success...!!!

I don't think much at all was done wrong!!! That was textbook, and sums up elk hunting. Game of inches, sometimes less!! We have all had similar things happen in the elk woods. Only thing I can think that may have worked better is him getting a range right before that bull started to head towards him. I lost biggest bull to date when a bull came in behind me at the only area I hadn't ranged and I guessed him at 30 when he was 42. It was last 10 mins shooting light and just grazed him low!! A good range is so important.

Agree. Left shoulder looked broken probably at one point or another. He was skinny. Antlers were stunted looking also. Which happens if the bull isn't healthy.
