This engine is in my wishlist since I saw it running in your vids. Pretty affordable compared to most race engines. It deserved this cleaning session!!!! Still has very good pinch after 6 gallons, it all comes to tune and temp👍👍👍

It does look really good apart from the rust on the crank, I rushed this video I wish I would have showed the components better before cleaning it was terrible

i just got a new hpi savage x 4.6 but the staering servo was working but then after it made a wierd niose and now it seams like stopped working i payed 1000 dollerse for it what do i do i cant replace becuase im new to rc car stuff please help

Best way to learn is by doing, if it’s new Id try contacting Hpi for warranty

Yes but the Protek 130t I recommended has practically the same specs and it’s a bit cheaper

Those cranks are weak, no point relining it. Ive been showen to measure the crank pin. And check after the first bearing change

I’m aware of this, if I was to rebuild it I’d do a complete rebuild with a dlc coated crank but kinda no point
