ESL Lesson about the modal verb SHOULD in English.
We look at how to create sentences using Should.
We then look at the different uses of Should:
1. To give advice, a recommendation or a suggestion
2. To express that a situation is likely or probable in the present or in the future. (Expectation or Prediction)
3. To express obligation (not as strong as Must)
4. To express that something was expected in the past but it didn't happen (should + have + past participle)
5. To say that someone is not fulfilling an obligation or is not acting sensibly right now (should + be + verb-ing)
6. Should vs. Ought To
7. Using the negative shouldn't
8. Using "I think" with should.
9. Should in Questions
All of these different uses of SHOULD have example sentences.
We have more details and examples on our website:

Before I supposed to say something I would like to let you know that every learner seem to be very tired with the so called " Modal Verbs", but, here, I think the format of the videos is lovely as well as the way of explaining so they can make audiences be ready mentally to observe what they need to study cense it appears to be quite & clear. Thanks for great help.

Will be + verb-ing is something definite, you know it is going to happen Must be + verb-ing is deduction but there is a slight possibility that it won't happen.

Thank you for replying . Teacher ! I have another question !! today I heared that we can't use " must " in the future. for example ) It must rain -> we don't use that right?? and I have one more question! If I say " I must be woking at home next year " can I use" must " in this sentense?? I mean at that time in the future I am working at home next year. not deduction ! I know I can use that sentense without next year as deduction and now I am doing . I am just confussed I can use " must" in the future by using be ing form. because we can't use only "must" in the future sentense !! like it must rain . thank you for reading it 😄😄
