After the Princess of Wales was admitted into hospital for abdominal surgery yesterday, it has been reported that Prince William "will likely have a busy couple of months" as he "juggles caring for his three children and supporting Kate as she recovers from surgery." As the narrative suggests William steps up to the plate to take on the childcare duties as Kate rests until Easter, we ask - are mothers still expected to take on the lion's share when it comes to caring for kids? Should we even be surprised that a father can "juggle" childcare and other commitments?

What? Mothers get everything everyone loves mom. And they should and Mothers should be celebrated world wide for there life long commitment and duty. And so should fathers.

Give us men the 9-12 months off work to look after our children so we can shut these type of women up about women do everything and men do nothing , any man who looks after his children be proud of yourself and hold your head up high , i know 2 men who have FULL CUSTODY of their child and i have told both of them how proud they should be and they dont get any dam public gratitude

Absolutely NOT! Fathers should be doing what mothers do daily without being asked, told or because they want something in return. Same goes for house chores.

The complete feminist view. I am not sure why this made news. We argue if men do and we argue if they don't. Prince William what ever capacity or roll, you do what's best for your family.

Both Kate and William are rich royals in a fancy palace with 1000 servants. Nowhere compared to single mothers or fathers out there. I would not give either of them credit. Just get on with it William. They probably get plenty of sleep unlike other parents with 3 young children. Wish the Princess of Wales a speed recovery.

100% agree. The media love to force this narrative onto us that Kate and William are so relatable and are normal hard working parents and they are not. My sympathy is with the servants.
