I live about an hour from Lexington, Ky. and I believe that horse racing should most definitely be banned.

Horse racing should absolutely be banned. I'm so sick of the deluded people who refuse to acknowledge how many horses die to this blood sport every year and claim how great and exciting it was to watch the horses run their guts out. Only greedy delusional people support abusive sports... You can't let the general public decide what is and isn't abusive, because the majority of the public don't know anything about horses or have ever sat on a horse. The general public sees a horse galloping it's heart out on the racetrack and will think that's the greatest, most powerful thing they've ever seen. Don't even get me started on the gamblers...

I suppose there would be illegal horse racing, but that could be changed with stricter sentences for general animal welfare in the UK. I worked in dog sled racing at the winning level. Racing animals is cruel af and theres no way around the issues. I never gave it much thought until i worked in racing. Horse racing needs to freaking go. We need to add an amendment to the animal welfare act to include a ban on all forms of animal racing.

We include joiners, warehouse workers, plumbers, technicians, project managers, various political affiliations. It's one of the only things that everyone I know agrees on. we should at the very least remove the jumps from the race the junps add extra risk which isnt even needed the jumps are sadly there for our own entertainment purposes its these jumps that harm the horses.

I used to be a big gambler before my spiritual awakening but I don't regret this time because It was exhilarating and I was passionate even if didn't win a lot of money. Finally this time of pandemic was useful to realize lots of things by being hampered to attend the races. Great vid

Hi. I think the Queen showed people that women should be productive. And, in general, people should be productive. I half payed attention to her all these years. She is on our money. I'm from St. Kitts in the Eastern Caribbean. The Queen said she loved horses , so maybe her horses have extra care. Also, if not, maybe she did not realize that horse racing was dangerous to horses until after a long while. So, she kept racing horses because that's what people know about her. That she loves horses. Anyway, I learned that she fought in a war. Kept her last name after marriage. I don't care if she married her 3rd cousin, who I think is more related than that because of generations of families marrying. She was born a long time ago, as time passes, health improves from news discoveries of things that are unhealthy, and new medicines and vaccines and other things. Some people online keep on faulting her for marrying her cousin. (I just started watching the video when I typed this)

Sorry but i think its very unfortunate that the interviewer has such poor knowledge about horses aswell as the industry. The questions could have been much deeper revealing the actual truth. This is just a joke and honestly lets the horses down which suffering a great amount. The general public might not find anything wrong with seeing someone riding a horse. But if you interview vets and chiropractors as well as ppl who take those horses on after they get discharged from the industry it shows a different reality. These horses are getting started before they have the physical or mental maturity to deal with the weight of a rider, the daily training routine, the stress which comes with the races. Those horses are getting traumatised in so many ways, broken down, their joints snapp during races cause they getting pushed through fear over their limits. And those which do survive and are ro slow, cant race because of injury are ending up in a far away slaughter house. If they are even more unlucky with broken limbs getting dragged by the neck out of transporters. This industry is not prioritising the horses. They just maximise the profit. Its utterly disgusting and disgraceful 😒
