By far the most helpful video. I was not satisfied when I picked up my brand new azure bag from lv and it was super yellowish. I’m returning but at least now i know its just a hit or miss kind of situation.

I love Damier Azur 😍 I have an Artsy mm (old style) which is just gorgeous, the handle is a work of art and so tactile. Would love to add a DA crossbody too, I think either a speedy b25 or a double pochette 😊 such a shame it doesn't get as much love as the other 2 canvases!

I love the DA. It is a stunning print. I have a Speedy bought 2nd hand. It is in need of a spa treatment, to say the least, but hopefully it will scrub up well. In future, I am going to remember Autumn Beckman's wise advice: 'Pay a little extra to get a bag in good shape!' My poor Speedy does not look as if it was owned by a smoker. It looks as if the bag was a smoker itself! About a carton every half hour! LOL! Hopefully the spa can fix it. If not, c'est la vie! It will do until I can get a better azure bag! Great vid.. you're absolutely right about how the color can slightly change. I think it's such a beautiful canvas, but mine turned a noticeable "yellow". I really like "stark white"..interesting how your speedy got more yellow. Can I ask how you stored both bags? I got one speedy30 Azur. It's about 11 years old but it's still in good condition because I use bag shaper inside. I think Azur is prettier than monogram and damier. It gives you a bit elegrant vibe.

Everyone on the purse forum was going crazy! 😂 I have a wallet in DA that I got in 2007 and it still looks lovely. I kind of want one or two more pieces in this canvas since they seem to steadily be disappearing 😕

I heard the delightful bag that sits close to the body got some pretty bad color transfer on its azure canvas. I think the speedy hand held would do well in azure. But then the handles need to be watched carefully, a nice golden patina is ok but not black patina.

I only have one. Speedy 30 and I’ve realized over the yrs that I’m not a fan of the cream color. Looks dirty to me. But I’m sure if it was white it would eventually turn cream/dirty.

I have Fendi bags that I LOVE, a vintage Chanel that is neat and easy. The only LV I currently own is a 2019 yr. Babylone PM in the gorgeous perforated monogram Mahina leather. I am now being treated for a severe degenerative condition and can’t handle a large or heavy bag. I Need a crossbody. I don’t live near a LV store so trying on isn’t possible. For crossbody would I be better with an Alma bb, the Crossente like you show here, or the LV Side Trunk in monogram canvas? Thank you for your time Conner

This my absolute favourite canvas, I love it, however, I prefer a light patina to the vachetta so have to choose carefully. I have a Néo Noé in DA but with treated leather in bluet(?) so pretty carefree to use. Finding it hard to add another piece in this canvas though because, as you say, so few products are made from it. Some now have a pre-patina vachetta too so I hope LV continue to bring out more pieces in azur canvas as it is lovely.

Hi Connor, the yellowing that happens on white or light colored items, on leather, green on bronze, black on copper is the aging process called patina. It happens on everything, but one doesn't usually notice it on darker colors 😊
