You are right. In my opinion with phones approaching the processing power of low-mid end laptops I'm not sure if its even worth going for more at this point. I would rather companies continue their efforts in the software section, optimizing further and enhancing the overall ecosystem.

Nick Ackerman now this is something I think you should get. I think you will get much more more views with a device like this, because people want that phone now that it's dropped in price and still pretty new. Ps I have the 7 plus and if you were able to get your hands on a 7 plus that would be cool and probably heathy to your channel, I know it's very expensive, and at the end of the day it's your channel, so you do you!

White Dog had a 6 plus. It was laggy sometimes, then upgraded to S+ & damn how fast the 6S+ is! compared to 6+! It's like a 60% difference in speed & a 70% front camera difference. You should upgrade if you can!

Mera Nicole I had the choice between the iPhone 7 Plus in the iPhone 6s Plus back in November of last year I chose the iPhone 6s Plus... I didn't feel like waiting several months just to get the 7+ and besides no headphone jack??? 😡😡😡... yeah.. I'm good .. thanks but no thanks 😒

Great! Thanks fo this video! It's reassuring as I'm a long time Android user (never had iPhone) fed up with the programmed obsolescence (makes me feel like my very expensive investment in a smartphone is wasted after just 18 months) and Android's update fragmentation (which is simply insulting at this point), so now I'm contemplating getting an iPhone 6s Plus because of it. I'm not too keen on the iPhone 7 Plus, its price and its shortcomings.

It really depends on your use, but I had a iPhone 5S since early 2014 (had it 3 years) and in middle of 2017 it still was more than enough for my use (running iOS 10). Still runs all the apps that I need and is fast, more than enough fast. The only things I was tired was the screen size and the battery performance, so now I have the 6S+. If wasn't for that probabily I would be rocking it even more time, until I upgraded

I've been torn between the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 but I do not like the absence of the head phone jack. This video however made me decide to go through with the 6s. BTW, do you recommend purchasing a refurbished one that's unlocked which is the one I need? People have left reviews of the phone not arriving and it freaks me out a bit.

yes of course. Today I had purchased 6s 32gb. It's nice and to some extent it is better than 7. I had the option to purchase both 6s and 7 but 6s looks more premium and it has the advantage of 3.5mm jack.

I got mine about 7 months ago and I love it! Only thing I hate are freakin' 16GB of storage I got, I thought it will be enough for me because my prevous phone was 16GB iPhone 5s and I always got like 8GB free, but now I'm surviving with only 6GB free... But anyways, I love it and I will probably upgrade when iPhone 9 comes out or something like that... 😂😛

I use an iPhone 6s Plus and I'm loving it every day. It's still fast and a great build quality. Don't think I'd wanna go to a 7 plus; maybe I'd wait for a 7s plus. But all in all, my 6s Plus serves me well. Got the phone last year march, and I still have it in a good condition. Yeah it is a great phone for 2017

Had my 6s plus for a year just "upgraded" to the 7 plus last week and im going back to my 6s plus. The 7 is ok but its just something about it I dont like. Plus I did a side by side speed test and its almost identical. No real improvements besides the speakers (which i barely use) and slightly better camera. And I'm not ready to give up my headphone jack yet. The 6s plus is still a beast and will last me at least another year.

Definitely worth buying after the very recent release of the 8 and X, 6s & 6s+ prices have dropped on Apple's website and will continue dropping everywhere else. Excellent phones.

I got a 6s plus I'm 2015 and still have it now. My main reason for not upgrading is I can't really find a reason to do so. The 6s plus manages everything I throw at it with ease even games. So I'll be rocking it at least till the next iPhone comes out. Or a less explosive Note from Samsung ;-)

Nick, i really love ur reviews, but please stop that "let's gaawwwww". Please PLease And although i'm an android user, i've been using my mother's iphone 6s plus and compared it with the 7 plus. The only upgrades besides the processor for sure are a slightly improved camera and of course the stereo speakers. But the downside of the 7 plus is the lack of headphone jack, unfortunately. Otherwise, the 6s plus is worth buying even in the upcoming 2 years. It's a relentless beast!!

I have heard lot of complaints about battery life so I am hesitant about it. It is also very large phone for its screen size. For $350-400 used with wear and tear and being a measly 16GB version, I think you have better options out there especially with brand new android options in the $400 range. I still prefer buying brand new phone with warranty.

I have to 6S plus and I'm gonna wait for the next year 2018 to upgrade. Not very impressed by the 8, but love the iPhone X so I'm gonna wait for it to be released so Apple could fix all the bugs and issues for 2018 phone. My 6S plus is still fast, in good condition and I got the 128gig model so I still have like 16gigs left.

In my country, the price for the 64gb 6s+ is the same of the iPhone 7 32gb. Considering that there was not too many changes from the 6s to the 7, I'll surely take the 6S+. Bigger screen, 3D Touch, pretty good performance and cheaper than the 7.

The iPhone 6s Plus is an animal. It’s so fast. I might consider buying another iPhone if Apple continues to support the 6s Plus until 2020. I expect a phone to last more than 5 years easily. If not, then I’ll switch to Android, you can bet your ass Apple.

For the simple fact of the headphone jack, I say this one is more worth the money. I have absolutely no time or money to worry about wireless headphones or dongles.

still oh so worth it, if you're in the market of getting your first iphone apple experience might as well get that 7 BUT the 6s, the 6s will not disappoint. and it's already February 2017, did i mention it has a headphone jack??

well I'm looking for a phone that lasts. I had 3 phones already and since I'm going to university I need a good phone. I have heard and I know that iphones in general last longer than android phones. soo I'm gonna buy the 6s plus new in a low price rather than s7 edge because I'm afraid that in 3 years max the s7 edge will be quite dead. I'm I doing a good purchase with the 6s plus here;
