Should I get RID of my 8-Speed Auto C7 Corvette Z06 for this 7-Speed MANUAL?
Hello everyone and welcome back to Brink of Speed.
Today, I will take you along for an amazing ride in my good friend, JT from CARZGUYZ, 2015 Manual Corvette Z06. We were out at Corvette's at Carlisle together and he offered to let me drive his Blue Fury look alike.
This Laguna Blue C7 Z06 is almost identical to my car, with just a few differences. Here are the differences; yellow brake calipers, machined wheels, carbon fiber front splitter & side skirts, and it is a 7-speed manual.
As you will see, I loved every minute. My first 2 Z06's were both 6-speed manuals, so it took some getting used to, to finally accept that I would drive an 8-speed Auto Z06. But, if I weren't getting the new C8 Corvette, I would have to trade my car in for a 7-speed C7 Corvette.
