What I love about Shao is how different kameos can change his gameplan. With Khameleon he's a neutral monster with stand 2, but then with someone like Tremor he becomes reiko levels of scary with his command grab

Your Li Mei is nasty. Bet you could go far with her in tournament. You even had Sonic hesitate to poke because of how you can consistently punish pokes.

I get why she doesn’t get play in tournaments as a li mei main, she can be difficult at times. But when you get an opponent trained, terrified to interrupt your flow, she is amazing! Rewind plays her amazingly and would kick ass.

He’s more dynamic but it really depends on the matchup cause he can get zoned..but you should definitely play him

I wouldn’t mind it. I can’t see you getting better with reiko or finding anything new until new kameos come out and it’s not like you’re gonna forget how to play him. With shao I think it’s more to explore and you’re already more than good enough with him as is.

I main shoa, but I feel like since he doesn’t have a solid mid and his armor move can be low profiled he has a lot of bad match ups because of it.

I think you got nasty mix ups with Shao jumping mix up is not very good in this game . Forcing armor is better imo

Let's meet the facts. Most of important matches in tourneys you dealed with Shao, not Reiko. And that cost you some results. Therefore deep down that was for a reason. Therefore Shao, not Reiko, may be your main choice. But that also doesn't mean, that you should abandon Reiko. And that doesn't mean you shouldn't pick another characters.

Yes but pocket Reiko and Li Mei. When you pick Shao you turn into a beast. Picking Reiko all the time makes you too predictable. You have the execution to manage all three.

Reiko is ridiculous, he’s such a well rounded character he has literally no losing matchup besides peace maker but with tremor he can armour sweep for a full combo. You not sticking to Reiko I think is what is costing you, believe in the power he is a really really good character.

Honestly, yes. There aren’t enough Shao mains. You and Dyloch are the only pros that actually play Shao at a high level.

@@br0dyj08n9he’s only broken if you’re a braindead scrub. His mix is so slow you just D1 out of his. He has no good pokes, no significant plus frames and ways to reinforce them. I hate fighting Shao, but you’re just bad if you think he’s broken. And the dude isn’t saying to make Shao a zoner, but he absolutely needs a projectile.
