9 ай бұрынYes! You absolutely should! Even for smooth-coated breeds, Allison always recommends that you use a hot dryer on your show dogs. Hot dryers use the higher heat (hotter than a velocity dryer) to lock in style - body and volume, straight and smooth - to get the coat bone dry, and to make sure you are not leaving any moisture in the coat that might lead to hot spots or a cold in the tail.

Thank you - I ave an alaskan malamute and use a K9III velocity dryer. I never thought to use heat -will definitely try

I love your tips. I have been careful with the "hot drier" because I was told that the warm air would damage the hair. Is that a misunderstanding? (Brussels griffon and Pekingese)

In my grooming van, I use towel and my K9II for most of the drying. Then the Kool Dryer. Am I drying incorrectly?

Could you link where you got your yellow bird ? Or other brands that make “heated” dryers I keep just seeing only velocity pet dryers and can’t find anything heated. Mahalo
