40:19 the nrl needs to start a streaming service where every game of test origin or club football is on there. I’d dearly love to watch Alfie Langer and kevie go head to head with Joey and matty again. I’d love to watch Freddie vs Laurie. Bedsy vs Smith elias vs walters Tallis vs Harrigon. There’s some guys on this list that I never really saw because I was a kid and you only got Friday night footy 1 game and Sunday afternoon neither were live and as such if my team wasn’t playing I’d just hear the score on the radio and move on.

The NRL website used to have that, I used to watch old origin games and tests in the offseason all the time. I don't know when they stopped, but it's a win-win. They put a few ads in there, they earn a bit of coin and we get games to watch.

Not every game was filmed back then. Kayo has a lot of the finals from the ARL but not normal round games

Agree with Gus on NFL. There is no better example of marketing. It is rugby league with ridiculous amount of stoppages and you can pass forward, yet people in Australia lap it up. More people are interested in the bells and whistles than the sport itself, whether they like to admit it or not

More i think about the biting incident the worse it gets in my mind. Hearing about his attitude in the room and manners towards others, well he deserves maybe a full year. Reece walsh was given 3 weeks for rude words to a ref. Where is the true equality. He pleaded not guilty after admitting it on the field andnever got even penalised.

I think its not that bad because its not like he went looking for his arm to take a big chunk. Gamble’s arm was in his mouth. He let poor instincts take over, but lets just leave it there. Doesnt deserve a whole season out!

@@clutch7548 look at the replay. The arm was, hand on shoulder crossing to other shoulder. His forearm was not in the mouth but across the mouth. There was a head movement. The teeth are seen than the action to close the teeth. The reaction to formally complain was instantly made tv cameras captured the visual marks. Secondly, this was obviously the verdict at the hearing. It is a tough game but that garbage is beyond. League is still only a game, a test of tactics, skill and abilities. I am a lover of the game. Pure and simple. I actually see it as a insult to resort to such an act. Sorry for my over the top reaction, my passion is probably tooooo much.

The Penalty should actually of went to Jack because if you put your hand or arm in or around an opponent’s mouth you deserve to be bitten.

Im a knights fan. That was not a send off bite. Gamble was about to rip jacks head off (go try it in jujitsu class if u never experienced it) Put ur head in a lock, someone push down on ur head with their body weight, see if u bite down

Its more complex in the ankle area. But generally its true. A broken bone around the shin, will fuse back stronger than before Compared to ligaments which can never fully heal/ recover. They just try to sow it back together

I'm sure when he was a player Gus kicked in general play so he should know the tackle count,it's not difficult .Plus you have the referee constantly telling you what tackle it is.

It's a grapple tackle around his head and he went on with it. Both should be missing the Knights instigated it with the bar across his mouth it was a grubby tackle and he got a grubby response had it been 10 years ago he would have got up and broke his jaw for his trouble

If you can't coach this current superstar Broncos team to a top 4 then you definitely can't coach. It's a MUCH harder job to coach the Warriors to a top 4 than the Broncos. Broncos roster is off the charts. No super stars in the Warriors.

Counting comes from American football, basketball, baseball, drafts, chess, softball, cricket, lawn bowls, ten bin bowling…..to name a few, ya don’t count, ya don’t win. 😮 Prior to the six tackle in League, no counting required.

Prior to six tackles in league they had four which were counted I am sure. And before 4 tackles we had unlimited tackles which you wouldn,t need to count. As long as your team held the ball the opposition would be tackling. You obviously dont know much about Rugby League. But know lots about Ten Bin Bowling. Is that similar to ten pin bowling? 🤔
