Everyone seems to forget Saban is still on campus. Deboer will definitely be an upgrade on offense since Sark was OC, and with Saban working with the DC which was his expertise I don't see any drop off at all and maybe even somewhat of an improvement since Saban has recently had issues with getting quality coordinators to come work for him. But the Q remains how Deboer handles game management in the SEC, and what role if any Saban will have in offering advice.

Nobody is riding Kalen as long as he is in the playoffs. Auburn is the school is on there 5th coach in 12 years

Who isnt scared of kalen deboer?? Does this give us a better chance than Nick saban to be ahead in the series? I guess so. Does that mean kalen deboer isn't an elite coach? Absolutely not. He shouldn't "be scared of us" any time soon because we havent proved anything on the field yet. We should be scared of US shooting ourselves in the foot.

Alabama is recruiting this year just as good as ever. They have the # 1 ranked class in the nation and our beating us pretty bad in recruiting. I’m actually shocked how good Deboer is recruiting. If he keeps recruiting like this then auburn will never catch Alabama. Auburn is not capable of recruiting in the top 3 every single year.

I think Kalen is a good coach, and they may even be better .because he's an offensive guy, and he's got better resources and talent than he's ever had. You guys can spin this anyway you want to, but Alabama may just be better. I've been an Auburn fan my whole life, but I don't see Auburn matching up with Alabama for a while. I'll be happy with 7-5 Auburn, which isn't going 10-2. Let's be reasonable.
