Google says AVI-8 watches are made in Hong Kong but with some Japanese pieces. Either way I have one and still think it’s decent quality for a $250 watch

Gunze Sangyo made scale model cars, which were boxed as Airfix. I have a few Border tools , which are quite nice

I think that they should do whatever they can to make money. Unfortunately, model making is nowhere near as popular as it once was and the companies need to adjust to survive, though they should still stay in the game and continue the very products that got them going in the first place.

Tools are always nice and merch is decent. However they need to rember their core customers. If they decide to pull a woke stunt like Bud light for example, they will go bankrupt. A pride spitfire will go down like a lead baloon.
