here’s my opinion with voice chat & all.. I kinda find voice chat useless if it’s only going to be 18 & over. there’s not many people that are 18+ in roblox.. ( 16+ would’ve made more sense. ) but I understand why roblox went with 18 & over, but my main problem I’ve with the voice chat is that you’ve to give roblox proof that you’re 18 & over although I still understand why roblox did that as well but, I don’t wanna give out my real Id to roblox when *they can’t even manage there own website security..* However.. the one bright side of voice chat is that this will probably stop the *Mic up people in Cringe iris.* Though at the same time I probably won’t use voice chat.

Honestly though, if you could choose who you can hear, being able to mute someone or report them if they're being toxic or something, then it could be useful i guess

VC I’m not a fan of but it would help some situations. Say you’re playing a combat game or one that requires you (the player and your team) to work together against whatever enemy. In text chat the filter makes it hard to communicate without tags. But with voice chat I think it would make communication easier but as usual everything has pros and cons. Pros: Ability to speak without having to deal with typos or the filter Don’t even have to type Cons: Ear rape. People blasting music through their mics (this happens in games a lot) Background noise Apart from that my main question is whether roblox will had a mute feature to the voice chat. Or they update the block user which will do the same thing as it does with text chat. Unable to see or hear them talk (apart from chat bubbles).

I honestly think voice chat is going to be completely pointless due to the fact that anyone under the age of 18 can't access it and there are apps such as discord and other alternatives for anyone to easily chat with one another whilst playing roblox. They should just completely abandon it and forget the idea and also not to mention with all the proving that your over 18 with the ID recognition is a bit too extreme for the platform.
