Imo I still don't know why people say a level being a NC level is a downside. I can understand if your making like a bausha vortex style or something that's been done a million times. But Sakupen Circles deco is amazing imo and the wave deco is just unique enough to not be just another NC level.

Let's be real here: Anyone that has not beaten a top 10-15 demon yet doesn't really have a valid opinion on wether SC should be top 1 or not

its honestly kinda fast to think that its been only a whole 2 or 3 weeks ever since slaughterhouse was top 1, crazy to think that it has already been dethroned by sakupen circles

Im hoping a very well balanced map replaces it for 1st. Sakupen is just too short and is mostly wave

i feel like the best argument for it not being rated is that it's closer to a challenge level than a demon. you can take out all of the gameplay besides the main wave and the difficulty remains virtually the same while only being about 20 seconds long.

just want to clarify that ppl hate the gameplay because it's incredibly unbalanced (legacy list demon beginning with top 30 challenge at 66% lmfao), not because it relies on the wave gamemode. Also the level got rated now so yeah

This level is 6 years old and it has a big history so that's why i guess rob rated it almost instantly

one thing i never understood is top players being like "oh this level has shitty gameplay and is unenjoyable therefore should not be rated and placed on the demonlist". like what, you expect being a top player to be all fun? if you wanna stay at the top, you gotta put in the work and that sometimes includes sacrificing the fun for the reward (not saying all levels are unenjoyable, but the top 10 is mostly levels with not-so-fun gameplay) and if you think that its not worth it, then dont become a top player. and this applies to basically every game or type of game where there is some sort of "top players" system. plus, you shouldn't prevent yourself from trying something deemed to be unfun just because its unfun. sure you wont have a good time perhaps, but you wont be able to step out of your comfort zone and progress if you don't do so. sakupen circles might be the best example of this. anyways thats all i had to say

the deco is AMAZING but the gameplay is alright and I feel like a lot of really hard levels have that same problem

I mean, the gameplay is super generic for a reason, it was literally made in 1.9 to be the hardest Nine Circles level ever created at the time lol This was made 6 years ago, literally as one of those 'silent, completely unplayable, must be hardest level ever made' levels that show up every once in a while And even then idk what the big deal with Sakupen circles being a completely awful level to play with no redeeming parts at all and is somehow worse than Thinking Space and Silent Club etc lol, the first half of the drop is super satisfying to pull off and is actually pretty fun to play imo (although I totally understand predrop being stupid boring and 66-100 being awful, I was just saying its not like the whole level is absolutely abysmal) Like I get it being bad, cuz it is, but its 6 years old, and is defo better than Thinking Space in literally every single regard lol (Also deco is absolutely fire, one of the best looking nc levels in the game)

I feel like you shouldn't be so negative about extreme demoms. There are a lot of good ones out there :)

Short answer: yes and no feature or epic just rate

I don't think bad extreme demons should be rated, they should just still be placed on the demon list. If someone submits a level, and it's legitimately verified, then it can get placed provided it's long enough (obviously keep challenges on the challenge list).

In my opinion, people will complain at a top 1 no matter what. If there's people praising limbo for its design, there'll be people hating it for memory. If there are people praising abyss of darkness for its design, there'll be people hating it for being dark. If there are people praising the Golden for having a unique theme and somewhat enjoyable gameplay, there'll be people hating it for being dark. Also a level being a nine circles level is essentially a non argument in this case, as there's clearly a lot of effort.

Honestly Diamond has my respect the amount of time and dedication to beating sc is just insane

I just don't understand why people start controversies about rating levels in general. As a creator I can tell that if the level looks great it's 100% rate worthy and SC is not an exception. They made nc style in such an appealing way. And it's length with an unbalanced difficulty just make it even better because when players watch this level they surely get surprised 'How did they make top 1 in a 40 sec level?' And then they get STROKE by the drop difficulty over the banger song.

I think in terms of deco, it's pretty cool. I don't have a valid opinion since my hardest is literally an insane demon. However, I dislike the NC remake trend and that's all I have to say.

I am pro rate and pro feature for SC, and not gonna lie I think some parts are worthy of epic. THE DECO IS EPIK. Idk if SC was the right IL to remake, but it has been done good. Also, about the length, It is viable. There are shorter extremes and rated demons that are 30 seconds long. NCs are a tad overused, but they have died down a lot since 1.9 and 2.0, and some, like Tenth Circle, are insanely good. Like SC. Absolutely rate, feature and top-1 worthy. GG Diamond. (sorry for the long comment.)

Its better looking than most of the top 10 to be honest so

lemme explain my views on the level the gameplay the gameplay is quite obviously inconsistent as hell and looks absolutely abysmal to play. you can easily tell this as the first part is about the difficulty of an insane demon while the wave is harder than sonic wave infinity and the last ship part is something a toddler could do. this awful gameplay and balancing is laughable and makes this level by far the most inconsistent level on the entire list. its also obvious the first and last part are just stitched on there so it can reach 51 seconds and 51 seconds is barely rate worthy if not rate worthy at all. and yeah you could say kowareta is almost just as short but kowerta has consistent difficulty and consistent design which leads me to my next point the decoration the decoration, while being good in the ship and first cube, hits a massive quality dip at the ball and the wave effect, while being unique, looks awful. its a boring nc style with fading blocks slapped ontop of it and then they just complete scrap this design at 66% and use an objectively better design for that part which they scrap again at 74 with a part thats worse than first waves part. and then at the last ship they have this boring ass lazy block design with no effort put into it with pulsing that goes way way to fast which then transitions into a long straightfly with decent decoration and then it immediately goes to some weird 1.9 styled part. the level is so inconsistent with its quality that this alone makes it unrate worthy in my eyes

For me, it is painfully unoriginal and just another old impossible level, and it is easily the most unbalanced level of all time (rivalled by Silent Clubstep) but the decoration is very good overall, and has a good mix of 1.9 and 2.1 to it, alongside its history. So, it should stay rated, but nothing more.
