I watched the Lions/Carolina game from 2020. Patricia coaching. Spielman in the booth. Every name on that defense I've forgotten. Errr. Taivai. I guess I remembered one name. To think we're thinking SB or bust is a miracle. People need to pull back the expectations. We're a phenomenal team.... but things can happen. Slow you're roll.

Some of you literally are too dumb to read the depth chart or something. Go to ESPN. Read the depth chart. Who is the starting LEFT end in Detroit? Who is the starting LEFT end in Las Vegas. Wait wait. Where’s the patented “he can just practice in a mirror!” line. Here’s something to remember: the RIGHT end in the 43 SETS THE EDGE. His goal is NOT rushing the passer. If you’re this unhappy with Hutchinson, why draft him? If you’re not, you’d know he and Crosby are the same guy. They each fill the left/alpha rush role. Neither is an edge setter. And neither is going to move to the right side and just pretend they’re playing on the left. It does not work this way. And you folks don’t understand how dumb it sounds when people make this as a serious suggestion

Receiver showed he’s a leader! And in a winning environment I believe he would be good. Before they fired McDaniels vs when Pierce took over you saw two different players. Hell, you saw two different teams! He was more vocal and engaged as a leader after McDaniels was gone, and I believe Dan Campbell and Antonio Pierce are similar in the sense that they want guys to be themselves. It’s a loose environment. I believe he would actually flourish here 💯.

#1 - How much dinero for the 20 minute skull rub I see in the background? and #2 - The most impactful trade with Las Vegas for the Lions would be a trade for Maxx Crosby. We can offer picks and players. The report of the deal for Devante being imminent is encouraging news. Crosby’s story is a little like Hutch’s; local kid goes to the NFL and (could) ends up playing for his home state team. Wins the Super Bowl…? I think Maxx Crosby is actually better than Hutch, but only by the smallest of fractions. The game last year at Ford Field solidified Crosby in my mind as a piece the Lions should go all out for in 24’. The way he ate up Jamo on the end around was brutal! Things are falling in place I hope.

How would offering anything for Crosby be smart? He is the starting LEFT end. Your starting LEFT end is Hutchinson. This fan base literally doesn’t understand the right and left side in this scheme is a different skill set. You literally want the lions to trade for a guy to play out of position. It’s the dumbest thing I keep reading. You believe it’s just plug Crosby in on the other side and he will be exactly the same. He wouldn’t and they won’t do that.

I think WR is not a position Lions should go get. If they are in other organizations, and wanting out or not getting a contract, that tells me they are about me guys, and not team guys, and that is not a Lion guy. This one position I feel has to be a draft only for a star, for the Lions way.

I am still wondering why Kennedy never got a shot in the regular season. Kennedy looked like a clone of Edelman. St.Browns rookie season would have been a perfect time to give Kennedy a shot when we had a not so good WR core.

You act like they didnt see him at practice every day. They would know much better than you what the dude was really capable of. They obviously know how to evaluate talent. If he was good enough to be on the roster, he WOULD be. Period. The fact that he didn’t make the cut says everything you need to know.

@brandonbaty2291 Kennedy is still on the team. Injury has been a issue for him. Kennedy looks a lot like Edelman on game film I have seen. If a 7th round QB can get a chance and play a full season as a number three or four WR. Kennedy should get that chance. But I'm not a NFL coach.

@thomaswatkins3686 if you watched Hutchinson last season you would know he played on the inside and on the right several times just because a player doesn't play on the opposite side doesn't mean they cant. kind of like how Sewell was drafted at LT but he's playing RT.

You grab anyone you get the prototype X receiver the big body position receiver like a tee Higgins. Aiyuk is like Amon Ra, and davante can do it all but both have high opinions of themselves. Both are divas. I’d rather get a Matthew Judon, Justin Simmons, or a trade for Max Crosby. That would make them elite, WR we are good as long as we stay healthy and Jamo comes alive.
