If they do reboot, they should do elseworld stories but also have a connected universe but not leading anything big. Because some people like me want more different characters to interact with. Unlike the MCU, Iron Man, Hank Pym and Reed Richards meet or Spider-Man talking to Cap about responsibility like in the comics

Yea spidey & cap are great together. Morals are similar. Not always. Captain America kills sometimes and Spider-Man never will. My favorite moment of them together is in avengers: earth’s mightiest heroes. Not a comic, animated show in a episode where cap has been framed with skrulls disguising as him. Cap & spidey end up in a position where they’re under the subway and have to get civilians out of there. New York Civilians originally hate spidey without having to be framed so they hate the both of them right now. Spidey starts getting mad at how mad the civilians are getting at them for no reason when they’re saving their lives, and because of their rudeness Spidey starts to think that they should just leave them and not save them, but then Cap gives him a great lesson of it doesn’t matter if people like what you do or not. The only thing that matters is helping them.

Personally I think if they did the MCU, but didn’t have it add up to the infinity saga, people wouldn’t be as angry with the modern MCU. That being said, I do think the modern MCU fandom is getting impatient. It took them a decade to complete the Infinity Saga, what makes you think the multiverse saga will be any different?

After secret wars I think they need to take a break and then focus on the unseen/underused characters. New X-men trilogy, Live action Miles Morales, Fantastic Four trilogy, ETC. This would continue the MCU story, and also give us some refreshing content.

In future, for me, if they do reboot, the watcher should narrate us to a completely new story arc. And that timeline in a What if kinda manner. The whole story should be same but twisted from head to toe AF

Here’s the thing, we are entering an age of cinema where Hollywood is now running out of ideas, I don’t think the MCU should end in any way, I think it should be rebooted and tell stories Marvel has yet to tell. I will still watch Marvel no matter what, it is my childhood, its really special to me and i love these movies and shows.

The best thing they can do is just continue with what they got after secret wars whatever plan they have they should just go for it because with mutants F4 etc to be more of a focal point and characters people know well then most heroes in the mcu in general long they do that right they will be fine but it’s just if they can execute a whole saga with these characters if not then have secret wars be the movie where the avengers lose to kill the universe but imo just stick the course don’t make phase 1-6 essentially null and void keep the story have something after the ending of secret wars which kinda sets up the new saga like the discovery of new mutants or potential off or even a small set up for a new villain imo dr doom

the thing is that if they did a reboot, it would not instantly start over with a new iteration of iron man with some new actor, it would not take every mcu movie and just remake it with new people, it would have to begin with not necessarily new characters but characters new to the mcu. the fantastic four, the x-men, the main focus would be one of those teams. it would be like if the early 2000s marvel films had been successful.

I think that if they ever reboot the MCU then they shouldn't have the original heroes just returning instead they should shed a new light on unknown heroes to the general public (kinda like they've done before) which would make it feel new and fresh (I'm not saying the current heroes from the MCU shouldn't appear at all but maybe not all of them)

If the MCU either ends or fails financially (which is probably the way it'll go down). They should make solo movies that exist in their own separate universes. Go back to making character driven stories that aren't building up to any big upcoming event and solely focus on said character. I think that's the best outcome.

It would be cool, if at the End of an Avengers Movie they just somehow get the hands on something like Infinity stones and then just reset the time back to 2007 and the whole Universe is just a loop in which now matter how much you try the end would be the reset of the universe. Then they could just make movies without shitting on the established characters

I already thought about that, because Secret Wars would be the Perfect high note to end it and making it possible for other stories Like Wolverine Vs. Hulk or Spidey and Deadpool. Some actors could return like Tom Holland and Ryan Reynolds for a Fun buddy cop style movie in which Deadpool explains the 4th wall to Spidey, like in that comic were they go camping.

Y’know instead of rebooting the MCU, why not make a new animated universe similar to those DCAMU Films? An animated universe where each character and team has their own project.

I think they should do what marvel comics did where they made the ultimates and maybe Kevin could do something like that and makes some movies in a separate universe and still hold onto the mcu just in case if the new mcu fails

Well, IF the MCU foes reboot, it'd give some of the characters a chance to interact which is something that couldn't happen in the MCUs first inception (Stark meeting Reed Richards, finally meeting the full Defenfenders roster, Avengers meeting the FF, HOPEFULLY the introduction of Rick Jones, the male version of Captain. Marvel, etc...

idk after watching secret invasion, if the mcu stopped i honestly wouldn’t care, because only the infinty saga will have rewatch value then when the multiverse saga finally ends

Don’t think they would end because they run out of content and to people that think that remember that there are also most 90 years worth of marvel comics. Ps: They should use the story of Defenders Beyond.

I feel like in 20 years that they should make one last big movie where everyone gets a good wrap up with the last word being excelsior from stan lee and have a message thanking stan lee. Then do else world stories and not doing a full connected universe every again not that it would be bad just that they shouldn't do MCU again.

About reboot after secret wars could allow future stories they didn't have yje opportunity to tell. Iron man having a conversation with Mr fantastic and beast for example

I think later down the road a reboot or new version of the mcu would be cool but right now it’s not necessary imo. There’s a lot of stories, history and characters that haven’t made it to the mcu. I think it’s mostly good for when they’re ready to bring back characters like iron man or captain America but don’t want to effect their stories in the mcu

I definitely don’t want it to end since they have so many stories to tell! I think just continuing the story is the best way to do it and begin the next phase with the aftermath of secret wars. I’m still enjoying a lot of the MCU now, and I’m excited to see where it goes!

I think the best way to save the MCU is that at the end of Secret Wars, all the events that happened after Love and Thunder will be deleted from the canon. Then from there start from there with a retcon for things less successful than phase 4 (like the source of Ms Marvel's powers or that Wanda will surely feel guilty for her actions and try to achieve a redemption arc). That way the continuity of the successful things in Marvel will not be damaged (and the things that had potential will not be damaged either).

Disney and Warner bros aren’t the best people for doing superhero stuff, I wish we had a company that did only superhero stuff, plus then we could get crossovers more easily and stuff
