I'd trust Timber defensively over Kiwior and Zinny tbh, if you're protecting a lead and need fresh legs in that particular position, then i think Timber would be a good sub. Otherwise, just protect him until next season.

Use the Everton game as his first pre-season game. He’s fully fit and will end up probably not playing at all over summer. He needs some minutes and needs to start building up fitness. Pre-season will come and he’ll be great, but I think he needs a good 90 minutes combined between now and the end of the season. But I wouldn’t have any issues with him not playing at all

I would like Arteta to have a plan to start with Tomiyasu at left back, and then with 20 minutes to go look to bring on Timber from the bench. If we're winning the game and comfortably in control, him coming on would be met with rapturous applause and acclaim whilst giving a bit of an additional boost to the spirit of the team which could result in us scoring another goal or two.

We need a deputy for benny blanco,give the left back to timber next season and zin deputy while trains for middle position for shifting. and for a central defender tomiyasu trains there for for a back up options,onother strong midfielder and a goal poacher like Alexander isak.sell all other unused players to create space for more.I believe if we can sell 6 then buy 4 and give chances to the academy talents we good to go next season

For me I’d play timber for 25-30 minutes get him use to the style on the park, then I’d do the same against Everton just so he’s not going to pre season with no minutes in his legs and is completely new to the system it also gives us a look at what he needs to work on in the summer

nah, that experiment clearly didnt work out and probably had more to do with Timber's injury (plan A inverted fullback) and maybe the Gabriel transfer rumours. Saliba, Gabriel and White are nailed-on starters.

If he’s ready give him some minutes but if not let him get to full 100% and see it as a “free” next year. His mental seems strong still which is really good after ripping your acl, been there it’s a lifelong without proper treatment.

We lost against Villa bcoz Partey or Jorginho haven't play, obviously Rice uncomfortably as a DM... that's a big mistake by Arteta becoz he wanted Havertz and Jesus to play together but eventually it's not work and cost us a title collapsed..😢

Martinelli's left-side partner was Tierney, a touchline and overlapping left-back. He also works well when Trossard is at false-9 or No.10. That's because he gets to switch it up with another player who can keep the opposing fullbacks busy.

Laurie at times man...Martinelli has been fucked by the selling of Xhaka. He often gets the ball and is expected to get past 2 or 3 defenders. Look at the triangle on the right with White, Odegaard and Saka. We have nothing like that on the left. Thank God for James and his insight

Martinelli benefited greatly from both Xhaka, Jesus and Zinny last season which obviously hasnt been possible this season. That being said, we've seen Trossard and Havertz have some very good interplay, switching position and creating space. Hopefully we will see Rice, Timber and Martinelli build an on-pitch relationship like what we have on the right.

Unpopular POV: I have still not gotten over the Villa defeat at home that has major impact on our title chances. Not that we can not be beaten ever, but the Villa one is lingering because of what has happened to Villa since that shock defeat, everyone that has played them has turned them over & at their home in particularly, so I can not figure it out how we could not get even a point v dross Villa (in terms of form) at home! Was that Unai’s only objective this term, take revenge on Arteta & Arsenal & Arteta unwittingly fell into the trap by tinkering too much? 😢

LW is set up for the future. Leandro and Martinelli are set there. Really need another Leandro caliber type player for the RW or maybe look into moving Gabriel there for the future being. Havertz up front with another top level striker coming in competing for that spot. I would give Partey another year or 2 contract, I look at his current value being very low due to injuries. If he can be given another chance to show his injury record is not a problem and his market value could be better. Either Fabio or ESR need to be moved on.

I would keep partey but on reduced wages. I would play him in specific key games either starting or coming off the bench. his unique skill set can change a difficult game. I like the way he seems to unlock odegaard. We could have used him at the Allianz.

we have to manage our expectations of Timber! he is being hyped to a level where he can only disappoint next season. none of us have seen him play more than 1.5 games for arsenal. and ACL can hinder players level. give him a good preseason and then let's see if he can make LB his own next season

We can’t risk it especially when we only have 3 games left. Partey was a gamble, and it worked. We can’t afford to gamble with the LB position at this stage although I think Timber would be great. He needs some minutes to see his lvl at this stage after his injury
