My parents had a 1960 Chevrolet Kingswood station wagon . . . pale blue on pale blue . . . it was a beautiful car . . . had a third row seat . My aunt had a 1959 Chevrolet station wagon with the fins. Five years later my parents bought a white 1965 Impala with a blue interior and air conditioning (a big deal back then) . . . roll up windows and AM radio and seatbelts in the front seat only. Because it was a fastback, the rear deck was so deep that I could lay across it during car rides . . . one time when I was about 5 years old, I rode all the way to Las Vegas from Los Angeles on that deck . . . good times.

The windshield and back corner glass are a huge issue. Nothing that a ton of money won't fix. Maybe you can find some at a nearby junkyard? I've seen a lot worse brought back. So, I think it has some appeal. Bet you could flip it for a few hundred profit!

Maybe for this year's drone film festival you guys could go around to some scenic locations like that and make a montage of some of your local scenery. Maybe when you get the bus conversion completed you could even take it along. It could be the Speed Bump Bus Scenic Tour lol!

It's toast. That became more evident as the close-up detail emerged. But the basic Aesthetic * of that 60' Chevy Wagon spoke to my eye as soon as I saw it, and not for the 1st time. Besides, even though there's no engine, it has a suspension. And don't worry about the video being a bust. I like lots of Vacant Lots. * A direct connection.

Young people i Sweden totally love American 4doors 60`s cars no matter condition . So there is always a chans to shell to Sweden .

If the floor pan and frame are good, I would put it together because the body looks good. For the missing rear quarter glass, why not make the rear into a panel wagon? Windshields aren't terrible to find and the tailgate glass is flat so can be cut by any auto glass shop. Hoods aren't impossible to find either. Theres way more to work with on that wagon than 99% of the cars found up here in the rust belt.

I've been to and climbed the Glass/Gloss "Mountain" and it's pretty cool. Anyway, I enjoy your videos!

For no other reason its a good parts car. Trim parts, headlight buckets, rear taillight lenses prices are through the roof. You got spare parts there for the one you already restored. Good find.

Don't count this old girl out ! Those rear side glass can be replaced with steel panels and some other body work could turn this into a cool custom cruiser. A nice body shell - didn't seem to have any major rust. Find a nice, reliable 350 and three speed transmission - Puddin's Fab Shop is wrapping up the build on his '61 wagon.
