I would say definitely want to look for good VRM Cooling (power delivery cooling) on the motherboard board if your hoping to one day put an i7 in it. The Asrock B660 Legend is a good choice with decent VRM cooling for $100 I would also just recommend going for a 750 Watt power supply, this will give decent headroom for upgrades and the extra $20-$30 will be worth it later on, 550w is cutting it pretty close with those specs Hope you enjoyed the video!

@@MikMatTech Hi, sorry for the disturbance. I had another question, it’s cheaper if I go i3-12100f due to my strict budget. So the 1070 Ti with i3-12100F is still the best choice out of 1070 w/ i3-12100F.

The i3 12100f is a great choice as well, but it does only have 4 cores If you’re willing to buy used something like a Ryzen 5 3600 is about $125-$150 and you can find a rather cheap motherboard that supports it for about $60 Also last Gen Intel i5 is a good option as well! 11th Gen Cpus are pretty discounted right now and the motherboards are rather cheap

@@MikMatTech Shame I live in Norway, the only used thing I will be buying is a used GPU, (1080, changed my mind) But honestly I won’t be streaming and only be using the i3-12100f due to it’s efficient cores. The i5-11x00 is still expensive because of the shipping since I live in Norway. All I’m looking for is free shipping. But thank you for your help MikMat. A really great underrated Tech KZfaqr. :)

It really comes down to what titles you’re looking to play and the price of each For example between the two cards the 2060 Mobile is about 25% stronger then the 3050 Mobile Although in gaming you won’t notice too much of a difference between the i5 and the i7. Although the i7 has more cores and threads then the i5. Hope you enjoyed the video!

If you’re looking for a 1080p Ultra build the 3070 or 3070ti is a great choice Go for a 3000 Series Ryzen 7 used for about $160 A $80-$90 B550 motherboard 16GB of RAM and a Gen 3 M.2 SSD will be more then fine We have a $1500 build posted on our channel as well if you want to take a look!

I also wouldn't mind if it did reach 1,500

If you have a discrete GPU on your laptop do this: Right-click your desktop. You should see Nvidia Control Panel as one of the options. That's what lets you adjust the Optimus settings, deciding which games use which GPU. If you don't have this option, try going to your laptop manufacturer's support website and downloading the GPU drivers from there instead of from Nvidia or Intel. If you have integrated graphics go to you power settings, if you have an HP Omen for example go into that software too. Make sure all your power settings are set to performance, not efficiency. Another sad but less likely option: One of your fans could have possibly died, although very unlikely that this would happen without other issues. But install a software called CPU Temp (i believe) and check your thermals. If you CPU is reaching anywhere close to 100-110C this would cause thermal throttling, which would basically force your computer to run slower to decrease the temperature. Also, make sure your laptop is always plugged in when gaming! If your laptop isn’t plugged in it gets limited to a lot less physical power or Watts, where adding a power adapter can add an addition 350W depending on the model. Where as on the batter it can only create about 100 watts

@@MikMatTech I will try this out tomorrow, thanks for the info! ( I was playing i without it plugged in.) but I’ve noticed that my gpu usage went from around 60 percent to just 100 all the time in the past few days.
