I finally got my hands on a game that I've been hyped for, for quite some time has finally been given an early access release date, and I got to play it early. This is 6 Days in Fallujah, a game based on real events of the 2004 battle of Fallujah during the Iraq War.

@@Cagefighter Incorrect in many ways, the game was being developed, then scrapped many years ago... then the IP was bought by a new developer and publisher and developed from the start.

@@Cagefighter it is incorrect in multiple ways. One way is that it hasn't been in development for 20 years, but really only 4 or 5. The other is that it's not "no where near finished" at this point it's only missing ai, and more missions. If comparing with ready or nots development it's chugging along splendidly.

My view is this: If they dropped production, $40 would not be worth it at all. But, seeing as it is gettin updates that add more and more missions and other content, I think it is worth buying. It has all the ingredients to make an excellent game, but still needs to cook. That being said, it is cooking.

Based on who they interviewed, I'm assuming the other Nationalities they mentioned on the roadmap will be British and Iraqi soldiers. Would be cool to play as them sooner than 2024 too!

Yes. This game is a documentary you get to play. Its extremely difficult and is meant to show the brutality of actual combat. You will die more thn dark souls and the ai is relentless. This is the greatest fps game ive ever played. To be able to experience a fraction of what the heroes did is incredible

I totally agree. I did 4 hours on it yesterday with full squad. I have never been more in awe of a game. It is just simply amazing, the sound design blew me away.

A lot of missed opportunities.. they basically made an arcade game out of troop combat. Allowing a 4 man “squad” is unrealistic of itself, the shooting itself is fine. Combat is alright bad use of the walkies. And map generation is boring considering you have 15 min limit to explore or find the obj.

There's so many wonderful things to say about this game. Im not sure if its planned but once all the game mechanics are in and polished, the devs should really work on a 5v5 pvp mode to keep people engaged long after release. It would seriously push the game's longevity so much further.

I have to disagree, I think they should work to expand the PvE. Possibly through DLC’s, if this early access version is a sign of what is to come, I am all for staying this route and playing PVE with the boys for a LONG time to come

They need to master the ai and the PvE experience before they would even consider a PvP

@michaelobrien7786 I certainly am not saying they should deviate from the roadmap which currently has no pvp. I'm saying solidify the game as intended - then create the mode with existing mechanics. Ready or Not was glorious when it came out. Now look at it. People are sick of playing the same AI over and over. They could have a whole new wave of players playing it if they had just reintroduced pvp. Games go years beyond their expected trajectory based simply on the replayability pvp offers. I know the boys at Fallujah have a lot of amazing stuff coming in the pipeline.. but I hope they consider pvp in the future at some point.

@@nolesroyceI’ve never got sick of RON. It has constant new mods coming out and the campaign isn’t even in yet. I’m really tired of people complaining they want pvp. No thanks.

I bought this game day 1. It is so much fun due to the voice chat. Team play is a must if you dont want to get killed too soon. work with your team to clear rooms and you can beat all missions. Again the voice chat is the best feature and makes the game soooo much fun.

You said 4 co-op missions, but I've only ever seen 3 over the past couple of days. 'Worth A Buy' even mentions that it's only 3 missions as well. Has anyone seen the 4th? What is it?

Size needs to be increased from 4 to 12 or 16 players to clear these buildings to create that squad clearing this area feeling maybe 3 teams of 4 get put in a match. they use close proximity chat to communicate and a designated fire team leader can communicate with the other fireteam leader through radio. Would be a great idea an would cause blue on blue more as I assume call of duty players gonna run around a bit more and shoot their teammates adding to the chaos 😂

its meant to be a fireteam not a whole a platoon. A fireteam in real life is only 4 marines so its even more realistic.

@@samosh I’m not talking about team size lol 3 fire teams! Equal one squad I’m saying YOU NEED 3 FIRETEAMS TO CREATE A MORE IMMERSIVE REALISTIC EXPERIENCE. ARE THERE TIMES YOUR GONNA HAVE TO CLEAR WITH 1 FIRETEAM YES BUT YOU DONT PULL UP TO A AREA DESIGNATED TO CLEAR WITH 1 FIRETEAM!!!! 😂🤦‍♂️ but if their not going to add more fireteams fine I will just deal with it. But minimum 2 more fireteams make it better

@@zigster1168He literally gave a squad size, not a platoon. A squad would, irl, be a much more realistic size for the missions in the game. They even call you a squad in the cutscenes.

For what it offers right now it does not worth buying it right now! In the future if they ad the campaign, AI bots for single play or more units in the squads because in reality they did not have only 4 soldiers in a squad or platoon but a lot more like 8, 12, or 16. With only 4 Gis you can't do much to clear the buildings and stuff and the insurgents shoot like they all Rambo they never missed and stuff. If they continue working on this game maybe one day would be awesome and worth the 40 now IMO does not worth it.

If you’re not a vet it’s easy to say that it’s not worth it. But for vets that served in Iraq this game is home. Best and worst times of my life but I wouldn’t trade them

40$ is to much for a early access and with how much “content” is in the game. I think 19.99 should have been the price so I’ll wait for a sale looks fun tho!

2 different games really, Squad is pvp, Fallujah is not

Well, i think it's gonna have the same lifespan as ready or not. Fun for the first few months, slowly decreasing player base and eventually becoming shelved.

It's a 15 year old game.. Feels, plays and looks like it. Bought it and it's not worth 40 bucks

Lolol worst troll of the year award here. It's only been in dev for 4 years. The original by a DIFFERENT dev was scrapped which would have put it at 15 years. This one is not the same one at all and by a new dev. U lose the game. Not even gonna breach the graphics point. Get some glasses or something kid

Full price is 70 USD This is 30 dollars cheaper. Just say ur broke and bad at tac shooters bud. The girls won't laugh at you THAT much. 😂
