Gotta fix that soft top--it's stretching over the plastic frame on both sides. It's a common issue caused by degradation in the elastic bands that tuck the top as it raises. It can lead to leaking, wind noise, and marks on the hard plastic frame. Good video, nice job.

And you never did fix it. Sold it to my uncle who didn’t tell me he was getting it. It leaked, and you didn’t help him get it fixed. Shame on you. It was a max £180 fix, which you should have done really. A miss by your team or deliberate…? 987.2 boxster/cayman is such a timeless design. The boxster/cayman market is also pretty stable too unlike the porsche SUV's that take a nose dive in value after a couple years.

True the design is timeless and unfortunately yes the SUV do nose dive in value however I think it applies mostly to the first generation Cayenne’a as they had reliability issues

Agree about buying a high mileage Porsche but selling it privately I think proves to be difficult even with price discounted so I feel that is the issue for me buying one. Although I’ve got a cayman 987 and feel I’ll never sell it I still wish to upgrade to a 911 one day 997 or 991. Great vid

Just a tip , I did 167,000 in my 987s without a problem.BUT I had an IMs issue (didn’t break fortunately ) I never had a clutch so my IMs was never checked , so regardless whether you need a clutch or not at 60/ 70,000 ish have somebody inspect IMs .. It’s just the greatest car , I love it , had 12 yrs …

Homeboy needs to learn how to read a script. All his freestyling numbers and stuff was embarrassing and showed he knows close to nothing about the car, and purely wants to sell it no matter the cost to the end buyer.

Agreed. I have a "high milage" 996 Turbo ( I put most of the kms on it) and I've spent thousands making sure it stays as close to new as possible. I even bought new wheel bolts recently as the old ones were looking a bit ratty. I'm sure I'm not the only madman.
