I swapped from the g29 to the dd1 with the v3 pedals. man what a difference the brake made. especially with the haptic motor built in.

Just bought one. Didn't make me faster but more consistent, and also it's much more comfortable

learn to trailbrake for extra rotation and you will be alot faster, really hard without loadcell

Nice explanation. It’s interesting that I’d never really considered the difference between my Logitech pedals (particularly the brake) and how they differ from the pedals in my car. When I was in my car today after watching the video it did make me wonder how I’d never noticed this fundamental difference before. Safe to say that I’ll be upgrading my pedals to some load cell ones as soon as possible

I have one and it's way better than my prev potentio pedal from TM, but if I am about to buy load cell again I prolly will go with simworx pedal

I considered fitting a small strut (like when you open a car boot (little hydraulic part) from clutch pedal (side) to the side of my base (the pedals are mounted upside onto a wooden base ,its bolted to wood but pedal has no real place to bolt onto ) I tried it out temporarily fitted and it starts off hard then pushes in easier just like a real clutch (problem is until I figure out how to make the actual pedal its connected to stronger I think it will just bend then break the plastic , anyone else had success or even considered this? (Pedals are the Thrustmaster PRO T3PA )

yes, yes you should. you should get them FIRST. then get the wheel of your choosing (TM, fanatec etc) second. don't waste money on logitech. Yes they are entry level, but they are garbage compared to belt driven wheels which a only a few more dollars away. if you have the money though, go right to a DD wheel.

@@feeschnieder7457 No. It's an awful advise for beginners. Ok DD and load cells are better. But so what ? They are expensive as hell and as a beginner you won't even get why it is so great. And if you decide to give up, then you would have lost a lot of cash you may never get back. While starting small with Logitech or even TM will allow you to understand what you need and what you should upgrade. People must stop dissing at Logitech. They are amazing entry level wheel pedals set for beginners.

@@TheKenji2221 you got no idea what he said i think, he said for a few dollars more you get a belt driven TM wheel which is 100 times better than that logitec garbage i think here in germany you pay 250 for a Lgitec G920 and 300 for a TM T300 which is million times better than those weird logitech wheels that seem to be for 9 year olds, no force feedback really it´s just krackling about while driving over curbs, in the TM wheels it feels like an actual response from the real car and you can put the FFB to actualy hurt yourself if you wanted in a G920 hmmmm i dont think so or you want to destroy your wheel krackling like hell going offtrack its just garbage m8 thats the truth in my eyes the pedals are ok for the price but the wheel is just garbage i tryed many wheels an TM and Fanatec are the best budget wheels i know its still 300 and more but still better than spending 250 in garbage

@@TheKenji2221 I you don't know if Sim racing is something for you, you anyway should get your gear second hand. It's way cheaper and often still in a good shape. Got myself an old TM T500 for 240€ last year. And I'm really happy I didn't went for the G29 which I considered first.

@@TheKenji2221 price is not a beginner/experient issue, it's a pocket issue. If you have the money, beginner or not, go straight for LC and DD. Unless it's easy for you to resell it as soon as you realize it's not good enough for you. Don't know how the market is for used sim racing products in your area.
