No hate but I completely disagree. I have had my switch for 3 years and I really love it. These are such niche issues, but deffinitely consult other opinions if you are considering buying one.

do your research, same battery capacity, its the same chip that is more efficient hence the better battery life. same for iphone, they make the battery smaller and slimmer but the chip is more efficient, hence same battery life. this is a little misleading.

Exclusives are very important for a console. This is why Nintendo is way ahead of PlayStation and Microsoft rn in terms of hardware sales. You can play a lot of other console games on pc anyway. You can get a nitro deck to avoid joycon drift but it costs money for sure. This is way cheaper than other consoles and pc is way more powerful than console anyway. I understand the complaints on hardware though.

Isn't PSP under powered compared to this. Didn't the PSVita fail miserably compared to the under powered 3DS???

I bought my Switch on launch day. the Sticks on these Joy-Cons still work flawless despite me gaming with them regulary since launch.

The fact the buttons are so flat and sharp edged and TINY on the switch just makes playing it more painful than fun

You probably have a dud switch. My old v1 switch has lasted up to 5 hrs. depending on what game I'm playing. It did last around 2 hrs. or so minimum.

The nintendo switch is one of my favourite consoles, I'm waiting to see if i enjoy it more than the ps2 (I had the ps2 for longer). I didn't get the switch till later. After having the switch less than a year I had already played more games on it than I did the whole time I had my PS4. I didn't even expect to like it so much, I mainly got it to excersice (ring fit) and maybe some game nights but then discovered BOTW and other good games I really enjoyed. The switch really bought my love back for gaming again as an adult in this current console generation. Don't know why but this generation and the ps4 generation I hardly played my console (mainly GTA n tekken), then once I decided to get the oled it made my get bacK into gaming and actually getting use out of a console & playing it. I discovered different games got into RPG's and generally got a bit more adventurous at trying different games even "childish" games I may not have bothered with before like Kirby. I don't know the switch just seemed to have a certain charm to it n brought back my childhood love of gaming. I really got it to use as a home console, wich I mainly did but having the option to take it out and play handheld was amazing, especially if I wasn't well and lying in bed. My only regret with the switch was that I didn't by it years ago when I kind of thought about it from playing with other people like my nephew at their houses. I thought I was mainly of gaming till I tried it now unfortunately/fortunately I have a backlog of games I look forward to finding time to play them. The fact that the switch is still holding up in the 9th genration of consoles when the hardware was suppossed to be outdated from when it was released and wasn't the most powerfull is really testament to the switch and just having fun games on it even if not the most powerfull. One thing I will completely agree with; is the pricing of alot of switch games especially first party. It's abysmal and I actually remember know that was part of my hesitation why I didn't get it a years or 2 before I did. I think a lot of switch games are way over priced and they fact that the prices don't really go down years after games being out like PlayStation and xbox is a slap in the face. I think alot of the switch games are simply not worth the price that's why I decided not long after buying it to get games that I saw on sale or for a good price because I'm not here for the pricing of a lot of the games.

I get it, its a roast video. Nevertheless, the nintendo switch was and will be one of the best consoles there is due to its amazing exclusive library. The more you chase preformance the more you are blinded by the fact that games are supposed to be fun, and only fun.
