I would only and only blame the PTA and government for this because they have made the situation horrible for the users as well as the economy. Just imagine if the govt had imposed reasonable taxes on these phones then there would have been a fair amount of taxes that would have been added to the tax net. Govt and PTA is making things difficult for users.

Give it a read! I have been using patched pta approved phone for the last 2 years. I have used S9+, note 10, one plus 7t pro and currently using one plus 9. I haven't faced any problems which you discussed above, rather than that I have faced a very strange problem in all phones which is battery drainage issue. All the phones I have mentioned above were in perfect condition when I bought them but all have bad battery timing and except that all the phones worked perfectly( all the phones were PTA patch). I bought one plus 7t pro with original IMEI and I used it 1 week. The phone was working perfectly and battery timing was brilliant but I couldn't afford the PTA tax. So I got it patched. After getting it patched, battery performance started to get bad slowly and in the end it was giving me only 5 hours of screen time. Now I have one plus 9 and it is also patched, and it gives me around 7 hours of screen time after following battery optimization recommendations (changing screen refresh rate from 120 to 60hz, turning of loc etc). The battery drain too much at night( I change all the settings which expand battery timing but it didn't make too much difference). So, to conclude my talk, I would say that all the problems that were discussed in video are also possible to being getting faced but the one which I discussed is also one of them which I have experienced throughout these two years Ps: I also moved to iphone for a little period which was non pta and trust me it is better to get a non pta phone then having PTA patch phone.( You can have a small phone with yourself like j5 etc which can provide you hotspot and can be used to call if you have non pta phone and you don't want to pay PTA taxes)

I am using LG G5 patched for 2 years (I was not aware of patch phones at time of buying) only issue I face is battery timing. Otherwise no issue. Don't know about signal because I rarely use it. Also got software update and reset phone 3 times.
