Should you get a 4wd or 2wd SCT for park grass runs comparing Traxxas Slash

This is just to show how both the 2wd and 4wd Slash SCT do on grass at a park. I am partial to the 2wd but the 4wd my friend has does well.

Great video and need more of them. Most, not all buyers of 1/16 are doing so for space and a lot for running in their yards. I have a fully grown in grass front yards and a mix of centipede on packed hard clay/rock in the back. For low grass I find brushless allows you to glide over the top but turns are mushy. Expect high temps quickly. Problem I have on clay/mix grass is the lighter 1/16 kind of "waddle" side to side on uneven ground especially brushless and turns expect it to easily flip unless you are good at speed control braking. Lets face it r/c vehicles hate grass.

Does the chassis height make a difference when driving on taller terrain. I know the ultimate comes with the lcg. So with grass I assume it rubs on the bottom a lot, thus affecting performance. Would you say?

Because of the 272 transmission... it will not matter much. It will bog down even with HCG due to how the rear bulkhead is and the rear arms catch the grass too. But... LCG with 2.8 tires is awesome for tall grass. 😁

Slash better on grass or rustler?

Slash. Well, it depends on what your style is. The Rustler bucks a lot on grass. I would recommend a wheelie bar for a Rustler. It is just due to the shorter wheelbase. Although, if you go with larger MT tires, the Rustler is really cool. It is an LCG Stampede at that point.
