i got mine ig 8/9 years ago and it's really durable, i would still prefer physical books but reading on a kindle feels so good too. One of my best purchases

When you’re in Korea go to Book Park in Itaewon. It’s sooooo cool. It’s like a library that you can pay to be in for the whole day or just a few hours and coffee and tea is included. You can sit there and read whatever you want. They have books in English and Korean. HIGHLY recommend

Yeaa this convinced me to buy a kindle. Ive never been much of a reader but in the last month i just started reading out of nowhere and ive now read 5 books and thats a lot for me and im becoming obsessed!! However i dont have much space for books in my small room and i’m going to be reading A LOT this year, I can feel it!! So thiss is much needed!

I got the 2022 paperwhite and I'm really grateful I waited for this version. It is also large enough to read some manga using the "kindle comic converter" program. This is perfect for me because maybe I'm tired of reading books and I open some manga. Another pro is if you want to learn a language. I'm Italian, if I have to read something in English and I don't know some words I just select and I translate it. And I have the list of all the words I've searched for so far that I can open to check.

i got my kindle about one year ago i think? AND I LOVE IT mine is the regular kindle because i'm from argentina and the paperwhite its really expensive here but there's no big difference thank you so much for the ku recommendations and for the beautiful video

Girly you definitely should add XOXO by Axie Oh to your kindle tbr especially when you’re on your trip to South Korea!! It’s a YA romance about a girl from the U.S. pursuing her music dreams and a K-POP star. It reads almost like a watt pad story but GURL it was a 5 ⭐️ read for me. I’ve literally thought about this book 3 times a week since I read it and its been at least a month since I finished

I got my kindle used back in 2020 and she's still going strong today!!! Its a old 10th gen. I'd like a bigger screen maybe.. It's my favorite thing ever ❤ I might get an updated one on prime day!! It's in July 🎉

I have been an audio book girlie for years but last year I couldn’t find an audiobook for a book I wanted to read so I started reading physical books again but I remembered how hard it was to carry around books of you don’t know when you have time to read out and about (and hardbacks are annoyingly heavy to me for no reason). So I recently got a old (2011) kindle and I LOVE it, the paper-like screen is great for reducing eye strain bc I read one book on my iPad and hated it. Now I’m just binging these videos waiting to upgrade 😂 I Will say i don’t plan on getting kindle unlimited… Libby is also overwhelming but I can kind of plan ahead sort of

Love kindles. I got my first one 13 years ago…. You can pay for the ads to come off snd the screen saver is the current book you’re reading. For me, I have old eyes and I can read so much better by making the fonts bigger.

ok ik im kinda late on this video, but im def getting a kindle on prime day (in like 2 days atp) but idk if im sold on kindle unlimited, it sounds great but is it like you get to keep the books once you're done reading them? or is it like a library type thing where if i decided to unsubscribe i would have to buy those books if i wanted to reread them?

I would love to buy a Kindle!! The thing I would put against it is that it is not the same sensation as having a book. The smell, the pages, and the cover. But it is too practical to carry!

If you do Amazon chat, they often will remove ads for free if you ask. The first person I tried said no, but the second Amazon representative did it right away no questions for free!

I really feel like a kindle is the way to go for me. 2 small kids, never get my physical books out to read. But love reading! Question, do you buy a screen protector for a kindle, or is this not needed?

No screen protector needed. Had mine for 3 years and it’s good as new. I only have a slip-in cover when I am not using it or when it goes in my bag.

I feel like the paperwhite 2021 is way more delicate than the old 2018 version. It scratches like crazy both on the screen and on the back 😢

I also have 2 kiddos and tons of neighbor kids over all the time. When I bought my first kindle last week, I got a clear case and a screen protector because I’m not trying to get this baby messed up! I got a paperwhite because that water resistance is important also lol.

i had a kindle but gave it to my sister, i partly regret it cause it was so much easier to read mangas on due to being boom size but also wasn't a fan of the blue light 😭

Kindles use e ink display and don’t have any blue light. No dedicated e-reader does.

If you keep your Paperwhite in airplane mode the battery will be extended even longer. The only time you need to connect is when you're downloading.

I got my kindle for Christmas. First book I read was the housemaid which took me a day. Read the second book in the series it took me a day. And now I’m on my third book and it’s just something about the kindle!!! Idk!! I always thought I was a physical book girlie but this is such a game changer in the best way possible. And the fact that I can pick up exactly where I left off on the kindle on my phone!? Um I’m obsessed. Still love a physical book. But I live in a studio so my space is limited till we get a house. I just love my kindle so so much. I bring it everywhere. Best gift I’ve ever received. 🤍
