Thanks for the feedback bro, really happy to hear that you got the info you were looking for! I love the RV, it’s a great all around camera. You definitely need a good computer for editing the photos but the image quality is outstanding for weddings, wildlife, portraits, etc.

So don’t know if you realize that in the beginning you say that its a $1,100 price difference between the cameras but its a $2,100 price difference lol and I spent my budget on the Sony A7R V and got the Sony 70-200mm 2.8 ii and the Sony 200-600mm and got the Sony 1.4 and the Sony 2x converters for them two lenses and ended up getting the viltrox 16mm 1.8 for my wide angle and northern lights photography and also got the battery grip and five batteries for it to be able to get started with it for here in Alaska

In 2024 I swabbed one of my Sony a7RIV Camera to a Sony A7RV. I think you should also have the A7RIII and A7RIV cameras in mind if you do not want to spend too much money ! I do like the new EVF, the new IBIS and the bird eye detection in the A7RV ! Only very few really new speed ! For me 5 fps is more than enough. I never use video, so I do not bother with video functions ! IMO it is stupid to compare a 24 megapixels camera to a 61 megapixels Camera !

You definitely do make a good point. The A9iii is definitely a lower MP sensor so it’s not in the same league in that regard. But yeah, the RIV and RIII can be good options for those looking to save. Just unfortunately, they don’t have the new software and some of the niceties of the new bodies like the RV.

If a person goes for the Sony a7rv you will need to have own or buy a top end high spec computer or laptop because the big file size will slow down the system. Sony a9 mkii has procapture, blackout free, more choice of numbers of images, higher spec features. One of the major reasons why a person would want to buy the A9 if you shoot sports, wildlife, motor sports and not need the high mgb

Sure, that’s definitely a consideration. For me it hasn’t been an issue editing hundreds or thousands of 61 MP photos. But you do make a good point. Like I said in the video though, it really depends on what your needs are. Both are good for different things.

@@jackofmanytrades true. I had the Sony A1 and struggled until I upgraded the spec on my computer. Both are great cameras and as you say there are factors that lean towards one or the other. Great video.

240 FPS RAW ? :/ afaik it does 120 fps .... hmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔

Not sure where you’re getting these numbers from. But the A7RV can output 4K 24, 30, 60 FPS RAW over HDMI and cannot do 120 FPS at all. If you need high frame rates, go for the FX3. Though you’re still limited in terms of what you can do with RAW.

@@jackofmanytrades You were talking about A9M3 and you said it does 240 fps RAW ... And also you said the A9-III is 6000$ and A7R-V is 3900 but then you said the difference is " eleven hundred " dollars which makes either the A9-III 5000$ or the A7R-V 4900$ . Have a look at your video again. I'm not here to throw bad things at your work Sir. I liked your video and enjoyed watching it over all. Just wanted to let you know there are some small errors which you might take care of next time.

Oh yes, I apologize I was thinking of video. You’re correct. In the context of photos, you’re absolutely correct. The A9III can do a lot higher in terms of its overdrive mode (120 fps). Thanks for your comment.
