The best thing about Aak, especially for long time players, is that he breaks the monotony. Using Aak forces you to try different ops that don't fit lazy/braindead strats. If you get bored during dead weeks, try to make Aak work in any stage even with just practice drills. It's a lot of fun!

Aak: S1M3 - Potential perma stun when activated, high ATK dmg, good up time/down time, has a higher chance of sustaining himself with heals due to faster ASPD S3M3 - any DPS operators with above 400 DEF and decent HP (vice versa) shreds everyone and everything, can be used as a helidrop with close to max initial SP, makes the game much more fun and entertaining (I personally included him in my trust farm on SV-9 with thorns and Saria) Bonus: Place him anywhere in Skalter's range (S2M3) and he becomes a normal operator without the HP drain + even higher ATK and DEF stats. Conclusion: Best medic trainer

Aak is one of those operators that scales to the Doktah's brainpower. In the right hands or given the right scenario he can be devastating. If misused, he can be an outright detriment. Also he can be used to murder Passenger if he ever invades your pities. Automatic win. As always: Cheers everyone! ^_^

Buffers are much more relevant now than when Aak debuted. As more players enter the lategame, with more high E2 and E2 max operators, the only way to get more damage is with buffers and debuffers. IIRC, every max risk CC#5 clear relied on buffers, and so did most of the high risk clears. Aak's S1 is also very underrated, with very good damage and crowd-control, but really his S3 is one of the best buffs in the game, so S3M3 should be the default option most of the time.

Aak is super fun to use. On contrary to popular belief, Aak is not only used for meme strats, in fact I used him to clear some of the difficults stages as heli-buffer for either Surtur or Silverash. I cleared the dreaded WD-EX-8 chalenge mode using him. Nian and Skalter skills allows your squishy operator to survive his buff. With Aak + Skalter, Exu will melt everything like a butter even the ones with the highest defense.

Aak is for advanced Dokutahs, which I'm not yet. But I did see a vid showing Aak buffing Mr. Nothing, and man, Mr. Nothing became a kung fu Neo, striking 3 hits less than a second or so!

Aak is really fun to use even with 1st skill. I usually run 2nd skill with hoshiguma or 3rd with skadi/specter for big damage

Really fun 6 star to build, I use him for every stage(husbando purposes). When you get the gist of how he works, Arknights' difficulty lowers.

Just USE Aak S2 with Flamebringer And you can see 1000hp heal on flamebringer S1M3 (12k hp) So if flamebringer S2 use S3 and look how flame kill any enemy in front of him

The only new ops that are entering the certs shop that aren't ops you can get via recruitment + Angelina are Ceobe in December, and Bagpipe in January. If those two aren't characters you want, I would say go ahead. Most likely, next rotations will be Hoshiguma or Ch'en.

I just use him to provide one dose of durian and remove. That's all you need. If enemy is still alive, drop them another dose

In some twisted way he is definitely not useless or more harmful than you think. People when they find out that Aak synergizes well with SilverAsh. Or Surtr. Or Mudrock. Or even Mon3tr (Kal'tsit)

Yep, he's the only buffer that can give atk speed buffs, which can be useful in CC risks that lower atk and atk speed

They don’t directly invalidate each other. But Skalter is more way way more versatile, her S2 add a permanent Atk and Def up, she also has good passive healing that you can ditch healers most of the time, Her S3 buff is basically Warfarin S2M2 but all allies within range. Aak in the other hands buff Damage way better than skadi, but aak has HP drains, skills has friendly fire penalty so it’s not as easy to use: ranged allies cant survive well but most melee can, Aak’s buff is the strongest buff of the game around doubling any op Damage up, instead of Skadi 550 Atk stat up. Aak’s Atk speed up is especially powerful for any hard hitters, scales way better for unit with basic Atk up skills. They actually pair with each other very well with Skadi negates aak’s HP drain while buff def of nearby Allie for aak to buff them better. Supporter Skadi is better most of the time tho.

Skadi is generally better, but Aak is no slouch as a buffer. He's considered as one of the best buffers in game (if your ops can survive him, that is) because of the unique buffs only he can provide which is atk speed buffs. Especially potent for ops like Surtr, SA, Exusiai, so that they can deal even more damage during their skill windows than they otherwise could. Surtr-Aak was actually a strategy used in CC4 on 1st week max risk to deal with everything with Surtr at the originium tile.

@@SamuraiBebop713 gladia S3 is very interesting, but generally giving your DPS stronger boss killing ability is more useful than clumping lots of weak mobs. I totally understand the wifu angle though, gladia is *very* hot.
