As F2P who never pulls on weapon banners in other games, I think standard weapon banner is easy default choice to use your standard pulls after you've exhausted your selectors. a) With two selectors available, you will automatically have 3/5 of standard characters, two which you want the most. The remaining two can come from inevitable lost 50/50s. b) No 5-star weapons in standard character banner unlike Genshin/Star Rail which combines the two. So weapon banner is only way to get power spike over time with standard pulls. c) Finally, weapons/gear can be shared across 3 teams in Tower, which means single 5-star weapon can potentially have triple the use value depending on your exact teams.

I got Jiyan's weapon, and hopefully can get Yinlin's weapon. So that's 2 of 5 covered. I'll wait for a few patches to decide between gun and sword depending on who comes out

I think the 1h sword is the best choice because Havoc Rover is really strong and everyone has them. I think in general standard weapon banner is a much better use of standard summons after the discounted beginner banner since every player gets to choose 2/5 of the standard 5* characters and you will eventually get standard characters from losing 50/50 on limited characters. Weapon banners including limited weapons have no 50/50 so the only way to get 5* weapons is to summon for them specifically. I personally pulled Jiyan's weapon to use on him and Calcharo and I am close to pity on the standard 1h sword for Havoc Rover

With the way the guarantee works on the weapon banner, it's genuinely more valuable to go for weapons which is very odd for a gacha game but a welcome change.

I got static mist first for Mortefi. I would love to see a similar video for battle pass weapons. I have bought the battle pass, but knowing which characters are best for each weapon as well as how future proof they seem would be nice.

I just pulled the 5* sword since I’m maining Rover and she lacks weapons and been using 3* weapons. I rather pull on the standard weapon banner since I want to use the characters I have instead of pulling on characters since I’m still building my main 3 and I’m lacking weapons and only have 3* weapons on most weapon types. So far, only got the Helios Cleaver which I’m using for Calcharo and 3 Undying Flames but I’m not building Chixia and don’t have any other gun user.

after i got calacharo in first beginner banner then verina at the free ticket, i should have pulled on weapon but sadly started on the 80pull beginner character banner using 40, and now saving for the weapon hopefully. unless i brick my 1st day account...

Got broadsword on 1st multi, yes i choose this 1 mainly becouse of jiyan..i don't want to spend on limited weapons yet until we have crit rate weapon like yinlin weapon. Now i have 40th pity build after hit union lv.35 so my 2nd weapon i will choose will be sword for rover then the guarantee 1 will be gun when hitting lv.45.

i dont have a good 4-star broad blade only have the def stats 4 star so my plan is to pull a 5-star broad blade for my Calchero and Jiyan first then only go for the crit weapon. I am a f2p

I just got sword in first 10 pulls and then Jiyan's signature in another 35 pulls. So happy to get two of the best 5 star weapons in the game🥹 Edit: My jiyan was using Broadblade#41 and doing 300-400 damage per hit but with his signature he does 800 around. I just saw a 2400 plunge after using intro skill. This game kinda want players to pull 5 star weapons, the damage increase is kinda too much.

New player (at this date) login then have like 40 pull standard, use it for sword first (rather than character), at level 35 you got another 40 pull again, and then at level 45 you get weapon selector, easy 2 five star weapon, based on luck you may have 3 weapon

I pull Jiyan weapon banner 3 times and i got it and i pull 5 times on this permanent weapon banner to get saber emerald. Im happy to be honest.

i say standard weapon banner is better than standard character banner as you still get 4* character, 5* character isn't necessary though.
