Good video. Years ago when I bought my second property, I must make sure I have the minimum sum in my special account which I dun. In the end, I have to top up my special account. If I dun have the minimum sum, CPF will lock up the short fall in my ordinary account and I can't utilize that amount for property purchase. I am not sure if this is still the same. Luckily I had buffer cash though this news from CPF almost gave us a shock .😅

If you aspire to be in the top 5%, your annual income has to be $278k. It was $241k previously! 25k is 300k yr video is for the top 2% to watch

I got a question, I am stuck in a limbo. Here is the context, I am 35 same as my wife we earned a combined of $20k p.m conservatively and I have a HDB fully paid $285k used CPF $355k, market I could fetch it for $550k or $600k. Should I upgrade to 2b2b condo for $1.4m or 3b2b $1.8m. My income alone could loan max up to 1.8m, our savings is $50k due to fail biz before hence should I continue staying my current HDB and incur 2.5% CPF accrue interests or move?

it depends on how many people you have in your family. if you are without kids i’ll recommend you consider buying a 2b2b using one name and mostly cash and keep more cpf to earn the interest. meanwhile save up more to use the second name to buy another property, one generating rental income. it’s quite a good motivation to save up and be wise in our daily spending.

⁠nobody wants to pay that much taxes too hence the decoupling strategy..so for this guy, get married then De couple n buy the 2nd property

Pay absd or if you’re married to Singaporean it forms a Singaporean family neucleus, matrimonial home calculated at lower rate.
