No need to replace the rear bumper with an aftermarket bumper. Just call TerraFlex (Utah company) and get one of their JK spare tire mounting kit which are rated for tires up to 37". I have been using one for 3+ years with 35" tire and no sagging or rattling. Aftermarker replacement bumpers just add dead weight, they rust, and they rattle.

I got a 2012 with 35x12.50/18's and I get between 15-17 mpg so its not horrible. You dont have to get a new rear bumper to hang the tire. Its possible to get Heavy duty hinges for the rear door and use the stock hanger.

Get a hyperchip for ur comp that retunes the eng and trans. Add nice exhaust and intake, required for the tune to function properly.... Big wheel lag will go away

Nice looking jeep but title is deceiving........i was looking to see if 35's would fit on a stock, out of the box jeep........yours has a 2 1/2 inch lift.

I had those 35 K02's on my Jeep, with a 4" lift. Those tires are amazing in the winter and summer, on mud, asphalt or grass. Quite while cruising down the highway, and almost no wear after 5000 km. Be sure to rotate them every 5k

You need to raise it to at least a 4 inch lift and 2 inch spacers to kick wheels out trust me it will look way better

my 2010 JKU has 33's i want 35's i think , but i dont know what i should do in addition.... gearing ect... I have a lift on it now i think its 2.5" lift but not 100% sure on that i just got the jeep it has air intake and exhaust

Do you not have a 3.73 gears? I was lucky that mine had them stock so I didn't really notice any difference in acceleration, I also have never really noticed a difference in braking. I also just mounted my 35/custom wheel on the factory spare mount but I rarely open the rear gate, I only drive the jeep 1 or two times a week.

How wide are the new KO2's? 12.5? Or 13.5? Also did you have to use any wheel spacers? What is the black wheel offset? Thanks a bunch. Cool video.

Well as soon as i begin to type this you address the gearing situation! Definitely change them, and then get to your brakes and youll be set. The setup is awesome for sure man!

I had the same issue on my truck with 315 75 r17 gave it a sluggish take off, get a custom tune so your change your shift points, and consider a after market exhaust, including the headers, your jeep will come back to life and then some, looks great

I’m so glad you didn’t lift 4 or 6 inches like most jeep guys do, looks awesome with those tires filling up the entire wheel well. Probably isn’t the best for off road performance but it definitely looks good!

Love all the crazy car videos but as a multiple jeep owner I love when it males an appearance. You should definitely get a front bumper to go with the rear to balance it out. As far as the new tires slowing her down your speedometer is going to be off as well. You can buy a tuner that will recalibrate your speedo and shift points and such for that size tire to help with all that. The next step depending on what gears are in the axles would be to regear them lower or higher numerically. The jeep looks awesome with the new wheels and tires

I have 35s on my 13 Wrangler unlimited and I didn’t do anything to my rear tire carrier besides an extender to make it fit. I didn’t do any aftermarket bumpers or tire carriers to hold it. My stock one hasn’t bent either

my recommendations are mat black wrap gloss black metal bumpers after market grill white light bar across the top of windshield

i would say plasti dip your fenders black but then they may look plastic? rhino line them. is that a thing? i just think they would look better black

My Wrangler with 37" Goodyear Kevlar tires hasn't bent the rear gate. My tire carrier replaces the existing one.

Love those tires! I have them in 33s on the stock rims and wheel spacers. I also have the 2.5 Rubicon Express lift kit. Your Jeep looks great! Don't listen to what the comments say, because no matter how hard you try, people are still going to hate your jeep. I've had my jeep for a year now and all I've heard is constant bitching about what I should do next. What I have come to realize is that others people's opinions do not matter and you can never stop with a jeep build. Don't listen to the Jeep nation. Most people will read this and probably agree with me that there is no stopping point in a jeep build so at some point you have to be content with what ya got! Nice vid!

I have those same tires and i love them. Chose them because they looked closest to a mud terrain without being a mud terrain

The stock tire carrier/tailgate can hold up to the weight of the 35 if the rubber isolators on the tailgate are extended and properly holing the tire from moving around. It should definitely be fine temporarily until you get your new bumper/tire carrier if you want to get the ugly spare off ;)

Dude I rock the exact same tires and with the stock bumper. I’ve had mine for about 6 months and it hasn’t bent the hinge on the back. But I did have to buy spacers so it would fit on the back mount
