Great advice mate. I think the one big benefit for me is the ability to have more than just the active speaker recorded. As a teacher of Photoshop, many times I'm obviously sharing my screen and then it's not as big a deal, but in those times when not screen sharing and there are 1-3 clients/students in the meeting, it's nice to be able to see everyone at once… not something possible on the local recording. I used to use ScreenFlow (screen recording software) which basically eliminated all of the issues with the recording quality and other such things, but it also brought along with it the headache of having to edit and compress the video myself later. Unless quality is of the utmost importance, I just let Zoom do it all now. Keep up the great work, Adrian. Cheers!

Thank you for this, Adrian! I was wondering though, if you are saving to your computer but temporarily lose connection, wouldn't you lose some of the recording?
