Should you straight pipe your G35/350Z ?

I get asked this question quite a bit, so just wanted to address it incase any of you are interested in getting a straight pipe or the muffler and resonator delete done to there g35 or 350z. When you straight pipe your g35 or 350z and the Vq35de, it definitely makes it louder and sound really nice when driving hard. I would suggest it to anyone that wants to make there g35/350z louder on a budget. I'd say this is the best budget exhaust for your g35 and 350z.

I got a 03 g35 tryna get an exhaust I heard it makes you lose torque because of the air compressed in the back you have any issues ?

Got me an 06 that is the most odd ball in the bunch just got the transmission got to install but why I’m under it I want to cut the muffler off

Costs me about 100 at a local exhaust shop.

Are you still planning on getting a cat back exhaust or are you keeping the straight pipe

Keeping the straight pipe for now, but in the near future would like to have resonated test pipes into a cat back exhaust, possibly tomei.. 🤔

Pretty decent actually for a v6. Also helps that I have 6 gears rather than the 5AT. But I avg. around 20mpg give or take.

What’d you do to it? I took my res and muffler off and I could still go louder
