How swaybars work
You’ll hear a lot of people saying that a swaybar is designed to push down on the inside tire while cornering. This is 100% false. The swaybar is designed to pick up the inside tire to keep the car from experiencing body roll or swaying. The thicker the swaybar the more effective the swaybar can be.
You can tune your suspension by changing the stiffness of either swaybar.
A stiffer rear swaybar will increase over steer while a stiffer front swaybar will increase under steer

I got two R53 1st gen Supercharged S models 1 is Green/ Black #2 is Red /White😅 Opposites. Bought the belt tool after figuring out how to do a serp.belt without it😅.

I have a 2010 Non-Turbo that I'll be swapping out the motor. You think it's worth upgrading the sway bar on this model if it's just going to be a daily driver? It will be easy to do with the engine out for sure is why I'm wondering.

@@ProjectMini Seems like some places show the 2010 Base and S models have the same stock bars while other sites don't. Any insight on that?

Just order swaybars that say they will fit your car and you should be good

I'm currently running the alta 23mm rear. Would a 27 be a good compromise for the front?

If you are needing more downforce you should look into a front lip and GP style belly pan. Swaybars don’t effect downforce

I am doing the towers and sway bars at the same time. I think it's a good idea, but I'm not super smart when it comes to cars. I have an R56 fyi, and purchased the aem ram air intake, so I had to buy their front tower. I also bought the ultra racing usa tower for the back.
