Thank you for this lesson. Could you explain in the level 5, there has a sentence "It's warm for December, so there's not as much demand for winter clothing as you'd normally see at this time". if used "you'd" why "see" to be used instead of "seen"? Many thanks!

Vladimir, I believe 'fancy' is a transitive verb, so you say 'I fancy a teaching job' or '... fancy becoming a teacher' but you can say 'I dream about a job...' Cheers!

Glad you liked it, Roland! We use 'for + verb+ing' when we talk about a function of something. For example: 'This spoon is used for serving soup'. That is the only function of the spoon. Another example is: 'The truck is for making deliveries'. That is the only use for the truck: making deliveries. Hope that helps!

I'm not entirely sure of your context here, Abdul. Both can be correct. Here are some examples: 'It doesn't matter if they go swimming at the beach or in a pool. It's the same to them', and, 'Traffic was terrible for me yesterday. It was the same for them'. Hope this helps you!

To me, Level 3 “Jogging is good for your health” is the most difficult as you said it is a fixed phrase and not to be really explained. And when I wrote the above sentence, I was not even sure whether I should write “to me” or “for me”?

Hi, your video is so interesting and helpful, but I'm still get confused about reason and function. The woman said that the reason is why someone do something and you can only use for+noun, not for + ing. However on the man part, it was explained "she developed tools for analysing", and she is someone. In my opinion it shoud be only "she developed tools to analyze". Correct me if I'm wrong. Hi Rahman. Both can be correct. It depends on your perspective and the context. The first (tool to analyse) expresses the idea of why she developed the tool. The second (tool for analysing) expresses the idea that the only function of the tool is analysing data. It does not do anything else. So it depends on what you'd like to convey. Hello! I have got another question, is correct to write this sentence "She was reluctant to admit us... ".You wrote "She was reluctant to admit to us..." my question is can I take away "to" between "admit" and "us"? Is it correct?

Hi Olivenbaum. It is correct to write: 'She was reluctant to admit to us...'. This means she was hesitant to disclose something to us. We need 'to' here.
