I have the 22 WRX in solar orange pearl. I get more compliments on the color I even catch people talking about how nice it looks when they walk by when parked at the store.

The best bang for buck performance to cost is the premium trim still by far. People stating oh they can just buy a base model and add everything the TR has to it and still spend less is simply not true. The math has been done and you're right at about the cost of a TR. People need to be comparing the TR to the limited as the TR is a limited minus the sunroof added BBKs, Tuned Steering, Suspension, bigger wheels etc. Compared to a limited the price increase is worth it IMO. Subaru fixed a majority of the complaints people had with the VB on the TR and people still being upset is crazy. Not to mention that the 22-23s have been able to be purchased under MSRP so I don't see why this trim wouldn't either. Yes, there is some truth to the whole dealer mark up thing. Dealers did try to mark up the 22 WRX when it first hit dealer lots and Subaru was adamant that they do not do that. They sent out notices that if any dealer were caught marking up their vehicles that their future inventory would then be affected and as a result Dealers quickly stopped trying that non sense.

You dont need brembos if you are not tracking your car regularly. Maybe just upgrade the brake pads and brake fluid. Will cost you less than 1K

In a vaccum I’d say it’s the best bang for your buck, only if you’re solely in the market for a new 24 WRX. Subaru increased pricing across the board with a base model now starting at close to 34k and a limited starting at just over 40k, these prices include destination. Paying 2-3k more for the TR doesn’t seem too bad looking at it from that perspective. Now when you leave the Subaru bubble yes the price is definitely rough, I think 40-41k would’ve been a nice sweet spot but “inflation” so 🤷‍♂️. It’s also important to note that all 24 WRXs will be equipped with Subarus eyesight system so that’s probably a big factor for the prices going up

There is no way it is worth 43k. Better get a base bmw 3 or benz C for that price.
