Hello Friend I installed Electric fence for a client, using merlin 28s Enegizer, after light went out and came back, the Zone one (FENCE 1) alarm would not stop blowing, and I have check all cable connections and every connection is perfect. yet fence 1 alarm will not stop blowing, please can you kindly help me out with a solution to solve this.

Normal with those the high voltage transformer fails with shorted turns on the secondary at the output. Fully potted so no way to fix. Power wise the whole board only has 16VAC applied to it, so it is not going to give a mains shock, though the 500VDC on those big capacitors will definitely hurt big time. Battery always fails after a year and a bit, being nicely toasted in the case. Board wise they are reliable till those caps fail, or the battery decides to die and dump acid all over the board. To tell of the transformer or the board is faulty, when it triggers even with the fence connections removed and the jumpers are there, you change the main board and see if the fault persists, and then if it still is there you replace the MOV and terminal board, as they also wear out, but in general the MOV's failing kills the transformer, so both will be replaced together. Sadly with the price of the board and transformer a new unit with warranty was better value, as that comes with a 1 year warranty and a new battery. Don't forget to add the extra ground wires every 10m on the fence, improves the bite and reduces RF noise. Was doing a fence fix last night as well, goose flew into the wires and did a bit of damage, though the goose was fine from the noise it made.
