+just dee the person who thinks that this choreo aint powerful can feel free to throw a boulder at me. this choreo is powerful af. the problem just is that everyone's after hip hop concepts nowadays...idk what makes them think that hip hop concept is cooler and that the other ones should be slept on... eventho I think that hip hop fits my style the most, I still admire and love all concepts if they're presented with good quality. and whenever vixx comes up with something, their quality is always overwhelming. I can't understand people. vixx has crazy visuals and fun personalities well... they have everything😕

say the name #20SEVENTEEN Well, hiphop is the 'trend' now. I am not really into hiphop or dances (or MVs) but Vixx have this quality of music that is really unique and I love it. They are different and not the typical 'catchy song'. And their vocals are different from each other but was able to make a great harmony and compliment each others voices. I don't know how to explain it but they are just really different.

I agree with everything you said so much! because even if I really love hiphop as music, I still don't follow groups like bts, big bang, exo...idk, maybe because I'm not interested in groups that are super popular (I'm bad at following trends lol)😂 but I really love vixx's music. the quality, flawlessness and all their hard work can't be unseen in vixx's performances! it's something that keeps me wanting to come and watch their performances like a magnet... even considering the hiphop trend, I'm very surprised that so many koreans sleep on vixx😕 vixx really is capable of making everyone fangirl and fall for them...

Shangri-La is truly a masterpiece I'm not even being biased about it and I'm so deeply saddened that it is being slept on :(

It's because they are not singing live. They do look much better / more rested.

I think they are singing live. You can actually hear two voices, the one on tape and their own. I've watched a lot of VIXX performances, and even their voices breaks(especially on the GR8U era were everybosy's voices broke at one point) or are strained, they try to sing live as much as possible.

I really don't think they are though. For the past few comebacks they have been using pre-recorded vocals. These vocals are put on top of the back track and lightly edited. It's not just VIXX who's been doing this, it started with the whole 'must sing live on broadcast' thing and the issues it caused when idols didn't sound as good (was never an issue for VIXX tbh). I've watched tons of live performances from them as well, I watch almost every single one because I'm trash like that lol, and it's pretty obvious when they sing live and when they don't. For many of the performances for Fantasy and The Closer they used these pre-recorded tracks as well. At one point I could line up 5 performances and all of them sounded exactly the same, which should not be possible. Not because our boys aren't great, but because there are always slight differences when they actually sing live. Though it's very hard to tell audio wise if they use the pre-recorded track, especially with how good of a singers they are and since the track does have live vocals recorded on them, there is a difference. Whenever they do sing live their voices are much clearer, members like N and Hyuk tend to miss a few words or sound a little more strained because of the dancing and they take more breaths. Ravi as well; whenever they sing live his voice sounds clearer than the backtrack and he sometimes leaves some words at the end out which are filled in by the back track. With the pre-recorded track you notice it's more smooth and blends in more because it's edited.The audio should have more layers, even if slightly edited before broadcasting, this is just too 'flat'. If you watch the performance from 170526 you'll see what I mean. I''m not saying it's a bad thing that they do this, like I said it's not just them who do this, tons of idols have been doing this. We all know they have great vocals, and it's not up to them if they get to sing live or not. So i really don't meant my comment as an attack (I know you don't think that but I want to make it clear for other readers as well ^_^)

It depends on the singer. Some like it some not. Some need it some doesn't. I guess Hyuk needs it coz His voice is so unique and differrent. So he has to hear his voice well while performing to control and make it at a right tone to fit with the song and other members- not too over other member voices

ChaeJi LeeKwon They hardly ever do, but for this stage it seemed like maybe they were singing but the studio version was louder? Usually with difficult dances like these theres a slight shift in the voice. (i cant tell tho bc their vocal control is really good)
