One kpop idol group on Road to Kingdom once said that it is extremely hard to cover Pentagon because of they have their own style/swag that's really hard to match. as a universe i think its just widely accepted that pentagon titles are hard to cover - not only are the rappers very distinctive in tone as both yuto and wooseok have particularly low registers but it is INCREDIBLY hard to emulate the vocal diversity and color hui and jinho bring to songs, as they are two of kpop's most credible vocalists active rn. but i have to say p1h really killed this. they brought the energy and really challenged their vocal stylings to match a similar entertaining energy that pentagon brings when performing this song. and they are all so young! i am looking forward to what p1h do in the future, they just gained a new fan.

I was gonna comment only on theo's voice because I've been in love with it ever since I started stanning p1harmony, but honest everyone shined so much here (unintentional pun). jiungs, theos and keehos vocals sounded amazing throughout the whole performance. intaks and jongseobs rapping honestly never dissapoint. soul also shines a lot in his own way, the "my baby part" was adorable but also he delivered his other line amazingly. I really wish these boys can gain a lot more recognition for the amount of talent they have as a group because it makes them stand out a lot from the other groups.

Brooooooooo they did so well!! They really captured the spirit of the original and were very faithful to it while still making it their own (the growl at 2:48 omg!!!!) and it seemed like they were really enjoying it which was super nice! I liked their sound as well, especially the one with the dark blue hair who did the high note (he has a very nice vocal quality and it definitely seems like he knows how to get the most out of his voice, he controls it really well). The one who opened the song and the one with longer hair who did "my baby!" are really adorable too 🥺 I'm definitely going to check them out after this (and I'd love to see them cover more Pentagon songs because they did so well on this one)! - a very excited Universe

oh, wow!! a junior boy group covered pentagon :o so proud of how far they’ve come now, and p1harmony did great! they performed with great energy and sounded so good, and the cover is very true to the original, they really nailed the “shine” concept :D everyone was good but I’m especially impressed by the main vocal (?) in the green jacket and the guy who covered wooseok (green pants)! this was a fun cover I’ll watch it again :)
