Matchbox always has the habit of putting mismatched wheels on their castings . The Opel is one of the two cars and the blue Mitsubishi 3000 GT also has the same mismatch Wheels .

Still waiting for the Holden Commodore police car and Jeep Avenger in the Montreal area . Will get the Oldsmobile 442 when it comes out along with the Ford police interceptor ulity.

Matchbox lost me on the Moving Parts now with the new packaging. Finally saw a batch of them on pegs and just can't make sense of why they'll skip covering that small cutout with some clear plastic. It would still be a reduction in used materials coming from the egg blister while keeping the vehicle protected. Just can't make sense as they'll wrap the Power Grab variety in wrapping while its in a sealed box, but now their with their better line they'll leave the vehicle unprotected in portions.

Matchbox's wheels really let down a lot of their castings. The 5 spokes are the only ones that look good. Also, why do matchbox basics alway look way better than the collectors series?

Matchbox collectors look weird. The wheels looked mismatched and oversized, the castings proportions looked inaccurate

I think the biggest reason is the high profile tires. They seem to focus on wheels that fit classic American cars and trucks then try to recycle them and put them on modern sports cars / supercars / SUV’s. They have to focus on making good looking modern 2 piece wheels with low profile tires so that they actually match the aesthetic of some of the castings they’re doing b

@@HighhScore they should really just use some of the hot wheels real rider wheels instead, I mean they're both Mattel companies, I don't see why that would be a problem.
