Today we're taking this 750hp SUV up to the mountains to see how well it fares with snowy conditions! Quattro is an AWD system with variable torque split between the front and rear wheels. It can deliver power where and when it's needed most, granting more traction to the wheels with the most grip. It helps give you surer footing on ever-shifting road conditions. While the X-Drive system found in most bmw models… will only do nothing but get you stranded.

Off road snow and rain Audi all day. Straight line and track bmw. Audis do under steer though I can't get past that

I love your SQ5. I use to hate SUV/Crossovers. But last year I helped my mom get a new car for her retirement. She ended up with a B9 SQ5. Really made me appreciate them. They're a blast. Conti DWS06+ are amazing tires. I run them for the winter here in Wa as well, but on a GTI. They've never let me down.

I didn’t like them either until I saw the SQ5 in person and bought one. Following my purchase I became a huge fan of fast SUV’s! I stick with Michelin PS4S’ for the summer due to the traction they provide, but you can’t take them in the snow! DWS06’s basically do everything you need. I love them!

@@Need4Built I love PS4S, but moved to ExtremeContact Sport for the last two summers and am moving to RT660 this coming summer. I've pushed the limits of both the PS4S and ECS too many times. I need lower TW for Touge fun. But yeah, the SQ5 has been on my shortlist of next cars. I'm keeping my MK7 for another 4 years at least. Love it too much. But I will eventually upgrade. I may just get an SQ5. They can be made fast (looks at yours), but retain all the versatility. It's like a super sized version hot hatch. Just with AWD, better interior, more power, and sexy looks. lol

Throw some Blizzaks on there and you got a beast in the snow. We just had a foot here in Portland and there wasn’t anywhere my SQ5 couldn’t go. Including off road to get around stuck trucks.

I’ll need to get a meaty tire setup like that for the next upcoming winter. Probably would be unstoppable in the snow at that point.

Have you tried it with all-weather tires? Or do you just have summer tires and then switch to Blizzaks in the winter? I'm getting a B9 SQ5 probably next week and was debating getting all-weather like the Michelin Crossclimate 2 or if I should just get a set of winter tires and switch when it gets cold.

Your videos and SQ5 are awesome. I have the exact Audi SQ5 2018 blk. I have a stage 2 with IE. I had a question with your tail lights that blink orange. Are these the European spec ones?

OEM Us spec. I’m not sure why it seems that way but it’s probably because I have my headlights and tail lights tinted.

People never Belive me when I say Xdrive Don't Compare To QUATTRO. XDRIVE HAVE too much wheel spin and I would know bc I'm do Valet parking and all I drive is Foreign cars so I had plenty experience the past couple years

Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere, but what are the specs of your Forgestars? I'm looking to get a set but concerned about clearing the calipers. Do you need to run spacers?

Forgestar F14 22x10.5, no spacers! You will definitely clear the calipers with 22’s! I run 17’s on my drag radials, and clear the stock calipers/rotors.

I have them now, not as much fun, much prefer dsw06 to be able to do fishtails and donuts.. they're a good balance. If just safety only snow tires.

X-drive has better traction but I feel like Subaru AWD has better control for going sideways/drifting and that type of driving

The same X-drive that gets outdone by Quattro every time? Interesting theory sir! Subaru’s awd system actually does quite well. It’s the head gasket that becomes an issue when you’re drifting.
