As a former art major, I can relate. Looking forward to this nostalgia.

It is excellent. I saw it at my neighborhood movie theatre today with an almost full theatre. Go see.

I can already start to feel the perspective of these characters, and Michelle's character's POV, that distance between the barriers in her own defense to be more in touch with her own self and the way the artists around her character have already reached that distance. A sort of wall of frustrations, agitated emotions, and the journey to letting those go.

This actually looks pretty good. Kind of different. 🎨 I'd definitely watch it. Can't say it looks excellent, but definitely interesting.

As someone who puts my heart, soul, and yes, sometimes humor into my artistic life.....I'm not feeling a tickle in my heart or a chuckle in my gut over this.....Michelle has been brilliant in many roles.....Brokeback Mountain for one......hmm....

Michelle Williams and Judd Hirsch must be canoodling. They've been connected at the hip ever since co-starring in that disastrous Fabelmans flop.

So......a million comments but no ones seen this movie? I saw it and .... I LOVE A24 films. I love Michelle Williams and I love art house indie flicks. With that being said it was only the 2nd film in my life that I walked out of. Even as an artist myself I thought it would have some sort of redeeming quality but I just couldn't find any. The dialogue was absolutely atrocious and dry. None of the characters had flavor. This movie made me want to never do anything artistic ever. I'm sorry but I really wished someone had an actual review of this movie. So many missed opportunities of people speaking about their art but it was so bland. This trailer is a perfect example of taking any interesting parts of a movie and creating a trailer out of it. It had Andre and Judd Hirsch and art and interesting music and all those Film festival logos.....I was so wanting to like this. Andre saying '"it was such a lift" pretty much sums up how this movie missed every opportunity to have any interesting dialogue at all. Seriously.....run from this movie. Sidenote....as we were getting a refund from the manager in the lobby, a woman walked out of the same theater (also wanting a refund) and asked us "Didn't you just want to die watching that movie?" ......Sorry A24.
