Would it take you longer to create this in Rhino? What exactly is the difference between rhino and sketchup when it comes to modeling for architecture?

in my case it would take a bit more because my knowledge of Rhino is 0. But I guess a person who knows the basic of Rhino can do the exact same things. Probably here the virtue of Sketchup is the 3d Warehouse where you can directly import models

everything was about 4 hours...but the majority of them were spent in the 3d warehouse

those are exported from vray, and can be used to select specific areas really quickly. If you dont use them then you will have to use polygon lasso tool to select every small detail that you need to select which is just too time consuming.

Hi, do you have any advice regarding downloaded components in SketchUp, they terribly slow down my model to the point I can’t move around within it freezing every 5 seconds?😭 Even when I download the basic super light components

Try downloading Enscape's free trial and using their asset library. They have a ton of items and they're modeled low poly so they're super fast but render photorealistic

Try Vray proxies , Enscape is good though its not that realistic. Rendering uses CPU while viewport navigation is totally dependent on GPU(Graphics card) Minimum go with 1050 ti for commercial scenes. Enscape is a GPU based renderer so you will need a good GPU for faster response time in Enscape. Quick tip: In SketchUp , Window > Preferences (Microsoft Windows) or SketchUp > Preferences (Mac OS X). Then select OpenGL in left side , then drag the slider in fast feedback option to 0 that might help you.
